With the increase of oil driving up gas prices,why are city employees still allowed to use City of Taylor vehicles after hours for personal use.I feel I am being robbed of my tax dollars.My employer realized in this economy we had to make some cut backs,now our company vehicles are parked after hours and are in a secured facility.Saving us from unnecessary fuel cost and even lower insurance prices.This will help insure fewer layoffs.Why has this issue not been addressed by pribe? Why are my tax dollars going to DPW and city workers to drive their wives grocery shopping and their kids to after school activities.We got the fireworks taken from us due to the horrible economy as pribe said but issues like city vehicle use has not been addressed. What happens if one of these city emloyees has a passenger that is not a city employee that gets injured who is going to pay for that? I believe these are issues that Lamarand will address!! VOTE LAMARAND!!!!!!!!

I have lived in Taylor for 12 years now and have watched the City and Schools fall apart right before my eyes. The quality of students has fallen and test scores are pathetic. Also the City of Taylor has the highest amount of sex offender compared to other downriver cities. Housing prices are in the dumper along with a high amount of vacant foreclosed houses. Why would anyone want to buy a home here? This is why I cannot sell mine! I will hope whoever wins Mayor can change this but I really believe it's to far gone. Time to move!
