i was on the jury/ the defense never gave thier side. they rested their case and never gave it a chance. i was going to say not guilty as i really had doubt about the cop's bullet that was mysteriously untraceable. But. they gave up, never presented thier case, and we went with the state
it is a shame you did not go with your gut feeling he called his mother that morning and told her the cops killed his girlfriend and he did not want to live there is also more to it but the lawyer told her her son did not want to see her cry anymore so he would not let them put her on the stand i have known this family for a long time. now he has to be in jail the rest of his life for something he did not do!

in reading these comments frpm people that say they know him so well do they know that before this hewas married and abused his wife to the point that she run out into the road to get away and got hit by a truck and while in the hosiptal he was out spending her pay check on drugs while she is suffering from a head injury. He was also still married at the time of this murder of his girl friend. He deserves every thing he gets and more he knew what he was doing.

His wife was no angel she was high all the time the old saying two wrongs don't make a right however he did not kill that girl the bullet in her arm was bigger than the one in her head that the police can not locate that's odd. The one in her arm was from the gun in the house that was her ex boyfriends that they fought over who knows who had the gun first.

i met beckner in jail ive seen his court discovery and all evidence in the case. i can't say for sure if he did it but i can tell you that the corronors report says that the gunshot wound was consistant with a 40 cal. round. beckner did not have a forty cal. but they are standerd issue for police. i am born and raised in the keys. ive had alot of experience with the police down here. they would'nt hesitate for a moment to cover up a crime commited by their own.

I do not believe he deserved this punishment, he is a man who was fighting addiction and possibly mental disorders. No one should judge him, nor act as if they knew what happened that night period.
why was beckner not arrested night before after sheriff was called by neighbor court ordered no contact with morgan and no manhunt that night for armed felon at large all done on bicycle

I knew Andy very well. A awesome caring guy with severe bi polar. Georgia had a good heart but both battles with addictions and his lawyer never called any defense witnesses both good people but drugs and mental problems got the best then. Andy is a good guy and never held a gun in his life till that night. Such a long story but judge Garcia was fair. Something I really hate to admit. Should of pleaded insaniry
