The "victim" was a drug dealer. He should have known the risks he took. I feel no pain form him or these family members. Live by the sword and die by it. Maybe they can get shirts that have "My son Eddie was drug dealer."

I agree with So Much he was a drug dealer and his mother was aware of it. She was enjoying the benefits of what he made from it. Instead of condoning his drug dealing she should have made him stand up be a man and do it legally. I know this family and I feel very little sympathy.

Have you ever noticed how these grieving families have such high praise for these low life,theiving,drug dealing,street thugs. He chose his life style, noe he can't live with it.We all make life choices.

This thug was trying to rip off a drug dealer of his drugs and killed him. Where was mom? I'm gonna saying shopping with the drug profits her son gave her most likely and that's where my empathy ends. If you play the game; the game will eventually play you. And in this case, it had a tragic outcome.
