I live near Park Hill Plaza and we lost power. How much is Unitil paying the Sentinel to keep its mouths shut. Or judging by this rag tag newspaper they honestly may not have known!!!

In the aftermath of the ice storm Unitil spokesclown Gantz repeatedly claimed the lack of tree trimming as a contributing factor.

Anyone notice Unitil tree-trimming crews out there trimming trees since the storm?

unitil has lost the battle forever,,they need to regroup and figure out,,the public is not the enemy,,they nee to stop biting the very hand that feeds them,,, losing power happens but lying about whose fault it is and not owning up is not the way

Leah,
Do you live in Fitchburg?
If not, then you have no ideas how these people are getting treated by this electric company. They have every right to be outraged and complain.
If you do live in Fitchburg then mommy and daddy must pay for the electricity in your basement room, huh?

Who controls the winds? Who does as He pleases? Who gives us rain and sunlight? Who makes every sky different everyday? Who provides life to us? Are we really forgetting about our creator? He does as He pleases, that awesome!! As far as climate control bill, it's stupid. For if we trust and obey, there's no other way to having complete Peace in Jesus.

We lost power too. I'm surprised by that since we thought all the limbs that Unitil neglected to trim fell down in the ice storm.

Why don't you take your brainwashing sh$# somewhere else? Uh oh, the imaginary man in the sky is going to smite me.

Yeah, all that religion has done in this world is caused unrest and death in the middle east. Can't forget about the Crusades, those were a blast. And the Catholic church with it's hypocrisy is always good for a laugh.

No damage in Fitchburg. Show that even Mother Nature wants nothing to do with that city.

As for the apartment building: Glad everyone was fine. That's ultimately what matters.

I cringed when I lost power during the "wind storm" ! A reminder of not long ago being 11 days without power, Thank You UNITIL !!! Please NO repeat performances or should I say NON PERFORMANCES ! UNITIL will never get their act together, and no matter how outraged their clients become nothing will ever become of the complaints.. UNITIL sucks as always...

When the Dec. 11-12 ice storm struck Central Massachusetts, Jeff Cranson was at home in Sterling and lived without power for eight days, saw homes of family members damaged by fallen branches and spent days toting his uncle's generator around to five houses to keep pipes from freezing.

Try reading the BIBLE. It holds all the true information about good and evil. Also the correct way of having a personal relationship with Christ Jesus. There is a heaven because Jesus said so; and there is a hell because Jesus said so. I believe in The Cross and His resurrection. That makes me a bad person? Maybe in your mind, but NOT in God's eyes.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Libra

It's Christmas Eve and you're running around like a scalded cat. However, it will do you no end of good if you can find a few moments here and there for some quiet contemplation. You might want to visit a place that's sacred to you, or take a walk in some beautiful surroundings so you can commune with nature. You need to feel that you're connecting with something bigger than yourself.
