Total disbelief of such an unfair Circus over the death of a child....The poor people did not even have an attorney, but a legal aid....So, So, much SHOULD have been brought out. What some people, Poney-tail Kent, will not do to get their name in the paper or on T. V. We want a team of real "BAD BOY LAWYERS" up against her and Buffalo B. in the criminal trial.

The only thing unfair is people like you aren't euthanized with your dogs.

I do not own such an animal.....BUT how can the cruelty of watching a child die repeadly be fulfilling? It really is not fun.

How can losing a child to a pit bull be fun. All owners of those breed of dogs know they have the potential for great violence. If you are going to own them, then you better be prepared. How can 7 millon even begin to make up for the child that is now gone? I am sure the family will see no money, I mean look at the owners?

Some one here in town, told me they were getting a pit. I looked at them like they were hella crazy. I said, Well you better build a fence, and keep them out of sight,'cause the first time I see them in the back yard on the chain, I am calling the animal control on you, friend or not, I am not going to let you put the safety of our children in our neighborhood on the line 'cause you think it is cool to have a pit.

This case in my eyes was to really scare and make aware to owners of these dogs.

I took it to mean that the courts are finally passing judgements harsh enough that people who are too self-centered to think of the children they are putting in danger with these dogs might begin to at least think of their pocket books! I am tickled pink to see this judgement!

If this happens, and I agree, what do we do with the other breeds that are just as mean? No losing a child is not fun....I buried two at the same time. Did it stop the truckers from rolling. NO. But the breeders of these dogs, and there is a family on 259 with the childs last name who sell pitts on e-bay. Any relation? Ho Hum, believe so.

Wow, at disbelief. That is very disturbing. Sick, in fact. I pray no one ends up hurt or killed there. You are right, there are other breeds of dogs that can be dangerous. I personally was attacked as a child by a doberman, I have horrible scars on my thigh from that day. This world is too cruel, and no matter what we just have to be more safe and pay more attention to our children, and our surroundings.

Also, I would just like to point out, this is not the first attack of a child by a pitt in this area. So I do think because of the high numbers of attacks, and deaths, yes there should be forceable laws against the breed and the owners of the dog.

I have seen people traig dogs and roosters to fight til death. This is where the word Pitt comes from. The puppies, of any breed, start at a very early age with pieces of raw meat and the taste of blood. They are hung from high places, forced to hang on to the meat, there fore givinging them the training. Roosters in this area are extremely dangerous when taught to fight. Some areas here this is a sport. Sick, sick, sick. Yes my granddaughter, at the age of 4, bent to hugh the sweet doggie, and on eye contact, went for her face. A four inch scar, plastic surgery, and it remains there 20 years later..Just a dog. Traing them is the crime.
