Warrior officer shoots man dead after robbery

I would just like to say that I would never have wished death to Michael Robertson, but, I have been told that he is the same man who held a gun pointed at my head in December of 2006, when I was an employee of the Dollar General store in Bessemer. He told the Assisstant Manager that if anything was done that would bring the police down on him before he left,that they would probably kill him but he was going to take me with him.
We believed him!!!!!!!!!
I am thankful that his reign of stupidity has come to an end and that no others were killed.

I'm sure the family is upset over what happen to M. Robertson. I
know they dont think him being shot was right. But let's talk
about right for minute. What about ALL the INNOCENT people
whom he held a gun to and said he would kill them? Does that not
mean anything, Do these people not mean anything. What
happen to 3 Strikes your out, maybe if this were put into
action, and kept we wouldn't have these violent repeat
offenders doing these things. When you use a gun, and
commit a crime such as ARMED robbery, you are putting
yourself in a situation where you could be shot and killed.
What about the poice officers that Robertson tried to KILL with
his vehicle, do they not matter, do their families not matter.
Instead of laying blame all these so called anti-violence
advocates, should have been trying to get Robertson to turn
his life around.“He was just a good hearted person. I don't
know why they had to do it. He doesn't deserve this,” said
Stephanie Kinniebrew, Robertsons Sister. IF he was such a
good hearted person how do you put a gun in someones face
and theaten to kill them? What about the lives of all the
workers Robertson tramatized? I do agree everyone's life is
valuable, but when you care no less about the harm you do to
others, and you threaten their lives with both guns and cars,
you deserve what you get. Robertson is dead nothing will
bring him back and nothing will make his wrong's right,
people want to make a change Stop the Violence BEFORE it
starts, we need stiffer laws against hard criminals, if tis man
would have served his time for previous crimes instead of
being released early, maybe he would still be alive.

His family should be shot defending the bastard. Did you see his sister crying what a good boy he really is. Makes me sick.

Regardless of his race, he put people in danger and the police did their job. As a former resident of Warrior whose family still lives there, I'm glad they did what was necessary.

I feel sorry for the people who have to make racist remarks to try and justify things or get a point across... There's only one man who can judge everyone... Sorry he did what he did, but he WAS the only one killed. The way I see it, if he really wanted to kill someone, he wouldn't have thrown his gun away when he first saw the police... or he would have just killed an innocent person...
He was the only person to die... and he was unarmed wayyy before the police put umpteen bullets in him...

I have lived in Warrior for 42 years, and have seen alot of changes. I have never been more proud of our Police Force. I'm sorry the man lost his life, but you know when you decide to put a gun in someones face and rob them you better be prepared for the end result. I carry a gun for my protection and i will use it if my life or my family's life is in danger or being threatened by some one who could care less about me or my family. I would also like to take this time and say that Warrior also has a great!!!!!!! Fire Dept.
