It's about time this company is being investigated for their less than ethical business model. These tactics are a standard operating procedure when it comes to training or certifications this company supposedly offers free of charge. They retain certification cards for MOT Flagger training, Jessica Lunsford Act ID cards, OHSA Training cards and so on and so forth,
forcing the participants to sit through these training classes and then keep the certifications so the participants can't use them anywhere but Able Body Labor customer accounts. It's also been reported that Able Body's in house risk department that holds some these training classes may be handing out certificates that require a specific amount hourly training in half the time required by OSHA guidelines. For example 10 hour OSHA training in 4 hours or 30 hours in 8 hours.
While the states is investigating Able Body they should also check into the Florida Rebuilds program that this company participated in and supposedly made millions off. The state might find that this company's training records are not up to par and might just be falsified or adjusted to make it look as if the employee's that participated in this program successfully completed the program, which in reality was not completely true.

I think all these temp agencies need to be shut down, they are the reason the employment wages are down, they set there on their butts and do nothing and take at least 3-4 dollars of your could be income.
you see an ad they put in the paper, you go to apply and that job just seems to disappear but they have another job for you that they themselves would not waste their time on but expect you to do it.

Ok i have to say something,Able body trained me,and even though i never got to work and i chose to get my HAzwoper and go to work someplace else,i was layed off because i HAD been with Able Body. Anyone out there explain this to me as a reason for being pulled was not my Hazwoper wasnt any good from the new place i took it,but that they were pulling anyone associated with Able Body at one time or another. What does this have to do with me picking up oil balls? I just want to go back to work.
