CC, The US Postal System needs to be updayed and revamped. The US gov doesn't even support the Postal Services except bail them out with Tax Payers Dollars every year...
1. US Savings Bonds- As of Jan 1, 2012 you cannot buy a US Savings Bond at a bank.
You have to set up an acct with the US Treasurery and buy the Bonds direct from Treasurery "On Line". As of right now it has not been determined disposition of any bonds you maybe holding.
2. Filing Income Tax- The gov and Income Tax Preparers prefer to "E File" all your Income Tax filings and if a return is due you, send it via direct deposit via "E Mail".
3. Social Security Checks- A couple years back everyone was told that you had to be able to recieve your Social Security by Electronic deposits........

That is just 3 services that have cost the US Postal Services a ton of money...... All for the good because of the savings incurred by the Tax Payers..

There are answers to how to put the US Postal System up and running at a profit but it is not Politically Correct to do so....
1. Close down some of the MA and PA's Post Offices.
2. Get rid of the Political Appointments.
3. Go to 5 Day a week Deliveries..Mon to Fri.
There are plenty more ways but enough for right now.
Ship it USPS not Fed EX or UPS........ Support the US Post Office..

Easy - I thought you might like to know that most of the US Government does their official mailings by FedEx. We mailed all official mail FedEx from our office since about 1997.

When the hell will America learn. We are getting bent over,And a big shaft, put to us;I`m done, frig it.I got the bucks to step the hell out of it.And why should I not do just that.F them all right where they breath.Let what is comeing, use them up,who cares. As you can guess tonight,I rented to much beer.Wanted to give every ass hole, around a Golden shower. That one of the problems with beer you can only rent it.. Tonight I really don`t want any of this. And as I go to zzz land,if there is a god,it will let me go my way.Never to be seen or head from again...C.C.

I'm not sure that Political Appointments are a problem with the postal service any more, but the other two solutions to their problems have been proposed by the current management.
