I had a neighbor who was mailed a ticket for an unsafe lane change. He was elderly and the facts of the case were virtually identical to this one, minus the arrest or police brutality. He went to court, beat the ticket (the "victim" didn't show up) and went about his business.

The standard academy training is 6 months minimum not 3-4. Also most departments require a BA to even apply. So even 35k a year isnt much for all that training and putting your life on the line eveyday for ingrates like you!
