The Truth wrote: It seems ever since shows like 'Cops' came on TV, out police force nationwide has turned into a bunch of jack-booted, nazi gestapo koksukkers! Take a look at these cops today - many are bodybuilders on 'roids who act like street thugs. I'm glad the old gal popped the pig and it would be an even better story if she had tasered the sorry bas+ard. To bad she didnt have some pepper spray she could have maced the prick!

Sean wrote: I guess spreading your legs for policemen might make you a bit biased huh ? This would explain a lot of officers attitudes. Going home to a nasty skank like you would be sure to give anyone a bad attitude. <quoted text> LMAO, thanks for the morning humor! You must have come from that WV Trailer! Shame you had to leave your family behind!

Typical wrote: <quoted text> Check again, Gomer! It's more like $35,000. That's not bad for someone with a 3-4 month police academy "education". Check again, Typical ill informed poster! That maybe in some larger metro areas, but most are far less then what your saying. The standard academy training is 6 months minimum not 3-4. Also most departments require a BA to even apply. So even 35k a year isnt much for all that training and putting your life on the line eveyday for ingrates like you!

A Bunch of Old Goats wrote: I am a Senior citizen close in age to the women involved in this story. I am active in some senior groups and we range in age from our late 60's to our low 90's and we have been reading your comment for a few days now and want to say that we agree with the police officer. There comes a time in our lives when we need to admit that we can not do things as well as we used to and this women is a perfect example of why. Eveyone gets shaken up after an accident regardless of age but you accept the responsibility an move on such as SIGN the TICKET! Ther was no excuse not to and as for hitting the officer taht was uncalled for, she deserved to be arrested. She only makes us all ( old people) look bad. When you can not do these things anymore it is time to call on friends and family to help you with these tasks, I know I gave up driving a few years age for these reasons. Some of you want to do nothing but criticize the police and for the comment that their job is not dangerous that is absurd, and as for the one about the military, that is a job you sign up for like any other job. We have not had a draft in many years. Please do not argue with me I served 2 tour in Vietnam I know what danger is and I still would not want to take the risks that some of these men and women do eveyday for our safety. Some of you would argue with You TOES over the size of a SHRIMP. That comment makes as much sence as some of your comments. We I was a young child (many many ) years ago I was told that respect comes from actions not age and this womens actions along with some of yours deserve no respect at all. We would like to say Thank You to the men and women of law enforcement, fire rescue and any other profession that make our lives safer and officer Snyder a Bunch of us Old Goats are on your side. Finally someone making some sense. Oh and look they are "close to the same age" as the woman in the story. HHMMMM
