AUSA O'Neill is as corrupt as they come. Look at US v. Gore-Dean and US v. Spellissy. O'Neill wins cases by lying to the Jury. O'Neill is unchecked in his office and he can't even be honest with his own family. Ask him. Also, why is a former AUSA and three other AUSAs from the same office questioning O'Neill's integrity? You cannot be that naive.

The posts that have any fact to them at all are the ones that say Trafficante is connected. He is 100%. Yes he does legitimate business but is also hooked in. As for the rest of the guys, Michael Cardoni is originally from up north somewhere and has a desceased cousin who worked for Russ Buffalino so he has ties, however I don't believe he is made. Nino Cinti is Cardoni's cousin and is still up north. I have a source who told me he is heavily connected up there and possibly made, don't really know. A mutual friend of mine and Cardoni said he (Cinti) was in Tampa last year looking to open a business of some sort, pizza/restaurant I believe.

The tampa mafia is very much here and active in tampa bay... i had dated one of the individuals mentioned above... here are the facts... the mafia these days are mostly younger guys 30's and 40's taking over all activity from the older crews who came down from up north. They don't wear suits and hats, they were puma type jumsuites, and normal clothes.. for the most part they look like every day ordinary italians... but i can assure you the mob is here and in full force. some hang outs that I know and have been in are Carmine's in Ybor, Donatellos on dale mabry, Ciccio and Tony's, the lodge, and the Hyde Park Cafe

The Trafficante name is all the exists in Tampabay. Tampa and the rest of Florida is an open territory, which means any crew from other familes can operate. Back in the day they had to pay a tax to Santo Trafficante. Dino Trafficante Sr had passed not too long ago. I believe there are just a few members left of the trafficante family.
