Duh, CNN is covering their behind. Gary Johnson is almost up enough in numbers to get on the national debate stage. Major media can try to ignore him but Americans that see their liberties wasting away on a daily basis are paying more and more attention. The next few weeks will be amazing.

I hope they have a debate including Johnson. He can take all the pot head vote, and Obama can have the gays, and blacks, abortionists, and war mongers, and Romney wins the rest. We will have a huge celebration in January.

That's funny! I hope you are right!

The more I think about it though, the more I am convinced that those Paul-bot / libertarian types are more than just a little dangerous. Here's why:

However misguided, you certainly can't fault them for their tenacity!

But you only have to remember as far back as 1992 to see what can happen with a sizeable 3rd party candidate.

Ross Perot's only real success was sticking us with 8 years of Slick Willy in the White House and introducing oral sex to school children. Perot was a mortal enemy of Bush senior, and in retrospect, all he probably set out to do was screw over Bush!

We have to discredit this Ron Paul disciple Johnson wherever possible, or else guess what: We will be stuck with 4 more years of that incompetent bumbling Muslim Obama!(Remember today is 9/11 BTW!)

Gary Johnson has nothing going for himself. He certainly is no ross Perot. He cannot throw the election one way or the other. There are too many people who want Obama out of office, and will vote for a Republican no matter who he is to insure no second term for the President. It is about the economy, and Jobs. If the President had any solutions to fix either he would have done it already.

I totally disagree. The big issue that Perot brought to the national stage was the deficit spending. Within 8 years, for the first time in generations we had a balanced budget...and haven't seen one since as the GOP and democrats got back to their old ways.

Bush lost because "Read my lips" and he lied, not because of Ross Perot.

It is funny but when it comes to politics, some folks think less choices are better.

Yeah they think our generation should fund our government and not on the back of future generations.

SO you want to discredit our candidates so we will support Mitt? Great Strategy!

I bet you were the same "conservatives" that were telling me McCain is the man!

CNN reports a small following alert for Libertarian Party candidate for President of the United States of America, Gary Johnson.
Cris Ericson, United States Marijuana Party candidate for United States Senator for Vermont,
http://usmjp.com
read the alert and is warning CNN to watch out for
a huge throbbing, pulsating organ that will become erect from the stroking of millions of American voters, and it will erupt in a huge
explosion of pristine clear wet votes for Gary Johnson.

Not at all! In the 2008 Primary I voted for Mike Huckabee, and in the 2012 Primmary I voted for Newt Gingrich.

McCain was an awful candidate and only won the nomination in 2008 because so many Democrats jumped ship and voted for him; just to cause confusion. Nonetheless I voted for him picking the lesser of two evils!

Unfortunately in the 2012 election I'm forced to pick from the lesser of 2 evils again! And I'm damn sure not voting for Obama!

Romney was one of my last choices for the Republican nomination. But what is done is done! None of us can change that! All we can do now is minimize the damage! The best you can hope to do in this case is throw out the incumbent before he gets dug in any deeper!

What I'm most concerned about is that there are enough of you Paul-bots voting 3rd party (for a guy who hasn't got a ghost of a chance of winning) to give the election to Obama!

And then we are all truly screwed! Think about it!!!!!!!!!!

When you choose the lesser of two evils, your choice is still evil.

Perhaps one day you can support a candidate instead of voting against a candidate. You are exactly the type of voter the republicrats love as you will always support one of the other insuring they stay in power and insuring that you will have to choose the lesser of two evils.

The simple fact is that a handful of voters in a handful of states will select the President.

We voted in several primaries. Paul, and Johnson garnered very few votes. The only people dumb enough to vote 3rd party are losers already.

I don't know why others don't like Gary, but I am against him becauce he and Daddy are shipping products to Iran against the sanctions. Plus he wants to legalize drugs. I see enough murder, and mayhem in Chicago because of drugs to know we can never legalize them

We have laws against using illegal drugs. You can elect people who will change the laws, or stop whinning about it. I don't think there are that many people who want the laws changed so good luck.
