Rip off operation.
Brought my guitar amplifier over to them to fix a broken power switch, nothing else was wrong with it. Charged 50$ to tell me that which I already knew. But here's the scummy part.... They also said I had to have a new fan because the amp won't work without it. Sorry but the fan was taken off 3 years ago and I have played on the amp everyday since that time with zero operating problems. They actually said the amp would would shut off after a few minutes without the fan. I'm like "dude I just told you I have been playing on that amp for 3 YEARS without that fan ". So I said can't you just give me an estimate on replacing the switch and do that and be done. They said it won't work unless I replace the fan. Bottom line is, when I took them the amp all it needed was a new power switch, they gave me an estimate which was 75 percent cost of a brand new one so obviously I'm not gonna get it fixed. But now I have an amp that needs a new switch and has a blown processor because they blew it. Like I said all that was wrong was the power switch, now it's worthless and i had to pay 50 bucks for them to create a new problem. Questionable repair practices to say the least.

I have taken all my gear to them over about a ten year period and have always received excellent, honest service at a great price. These dudes are the best in their field. Sorry dude.

Just called them a few minutes ago regarding the repair of my amp. Guy on the phone was extremely rude. I am going to retrieve my amp from them and find someone with customer service skills.

I had an equally horrible experience with Diversified Audio in Tampa. Multiple times back to the shop after they said my tube amps were repaired. I got home after a really long drive to find the original problems were still there. They could never repair the problems on any of the 3 different amps I took to them and it was nothing but a HUGE waste of my time and money with these clowns -- incompetence big time, and very expensive for absolutely NO fix or repair. Don't make the mistake of thinking that because they have these certification plaques hanging on there walls that say Marshall, Fender, Ampeg Warranty Service center that you are going to get some kind of high-level expertise on your repair. What a joke! Oh, and if any of you have found anyone who is actually competent at basic tube amp repair, please let us all know because I have found no one in Florida that I can trust and I still have broken amps I can't use and have spent about $900 in repair costs, not to mention all of the $125 in gas trips I made back and forth to their shop.
