I went to the link provided and it does not appear that all TIA flights are grounded as reported. only a few are canceled. mostly American Airlines.

way to go WTSP, let's try to panic everyone!

The story says seven jets at TIA are grounded. The story says all seven jets are for American Airlines. Not once did we say in the article that all flights are grounded.

I'm not sure how much clearer you wanted us to be.

If you would have read the arcticle, you would have found that it said 7 (seven) MD-80 planes were grounded.

"Some American Airline flights grounded at TIA" would be a much better headline.

Way to go WTSP.

at the time of my posting there was no mention of a number of flights or planes being grounded.
the title indicated that TIA was grounded, Right Now: TIA Flights Grounded
The Federal Aviation Administration has temporarily grounded all Super 80 jets as of Tuesday morning

the title alone indicates that all of the TIA departures had been grounded. I also did not see any mention as to it being mostly one airline affected.

I generally reread the article at least 2 times before making such comments. rewrites after my post does not mean that I did not read the article.

sounds like someone is trying to get their brownie points with the boss or perhaps trying to find something to have me kicked off here for, since I do complain about the content a good deal.

I wasn't the original writer of the article, but when I saw it, it specifically said it was seven aircraft from American Airlines. Your comment had been timestamped from only a few minutes earlier when I replied to it.

As for banning you, read my response immediately above yours.

This is a crisis people. Isnt it funny how the airlines can change your flight, ticketing and basically your life without any recourse on your part. Try this....buy an airline ticket....then you yourself try to change the flight....good luck moron, you will get the run around. They basically want you to bring an excuse from a parent and a notary public document. Then they charge you, reassign you a seat in one of those super small seats and treat you like crap. Welcome to the year 2008 and wonderful customer service. But wait people, this is all for our protection right? Tell that to the people who crash in planes every year, per the airlines its the peoples fault the plane crashed after all they did buy the ticket for that flight right?
