WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE VITAMIN?

My wife had an ectopic pregnancy in February - we conceived literally the first weekend possible! After that and her subsequent surgery, we are again hopeful. My count went from 65 million in April to 94 million last week with 66% motility. We just had a round of artificial insemination on Sunday, so hopefully things go well and we're pregnant soon! We have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Grey!!!! Incidentally, our doctor recommended some all natural vitamins (they taste terrible) that help increase healthy sperm count. If you want the information please let me know. They are kind of expensive, but worth it we believe. Good luck to everyone, and THANK YOU FOR KEEPING THIS FORUM GOING!!

The name of the vitamin is ConceptionXR. Their web site is www.ConceptionXR.com - the fertility specialist group we went to recommends them to most of their male patients. Good luck!

I just got back from having my reversal reversed (another vasectomy). The doctor shocked my wife and I about the news of Dr. Grey. WOW! He didn't have much positive to say about dr. Grey, but my wife and I personally hold him in the highest regards. He was eccentric, but very professional. Although my nuts swelled to the size of a cantaloupe, the procedure worked. Dr. Grey successfully reversed my vasectomy in March 05 after 12 years. In December, our little boy was born. I am most disappointed that we won't be able to post a picture of our little guy on the wall of success in the office.

Dr. Grey was a wonderful man. He was a miracle worker in my eyes. We were 7 years post vasectomy and travelled from New York to meet him for the first time to give us hope to have another baby. He treated both my husband and I like the king and queen. He was down to earth and the real deal. Anyone who has had it done knows the restrictions for a month and low and behold I was pregnant the next month, one try. I have a beautiful baby boy who is 2 1/2. Dr. Grey will be sadly missed in our hearts and to the unserved patients in the future....He was the best!!! Thank you Dr.Grey !!!!

Dr. Grey was an interesting man. He has also become a controversial figure. While there is little doubt that he had some serious emotional issues, and that his financial affairs were questionable at best, he was, nonetheless, a very talented surgeon. My surgery was in March of 2006, which means I was lucky to have scheduled the procedure prior to the events that lead to his disturbing demise. I was eight years post vasectomy and Dr. Grey found live, motile sperm in both vas during the procedure. He said that was as good as it gets. My entire probability of success was based on his surgical skills. Well, after six months, my sperm count was within normal ranges (68 million) and, with the help of an ovulation predictor kit for our 7th month of trying, my wife is now expecting. While many people have good reasons to be upset with Dr. Grey, his surgical skills should not be among them. Surgery is as much art as it is science and no outcome is guaranteed. In the end, the risk factors listed in Dr. Grey's materials were determinative as to success (e,g., length of time since vasectomy, presence or absence of live sperm, etc.). My risk factors were favorable and Dr. Grey did what I paid him to do.

We had surgery done in January of 2004. It had been 14 years since my husbands vasectomy. He was 44 years old. We got pregnant in May of that year and miscarried. Then got pregnant again the following January. We have a beautiful, healthy 9 month old daughter now and I just found out we are pregnant again. I am 9 weeks along. We knew 2 other couples who had VR. Both paid double what we did and to this day have had no luck. I must admit we were a bit nervous when Dr. Grey walked in the door with Gretchen, his doberman. After meeting him and speaking with him, our concerns were eased. It makes me so sad to think of his tragic ending.
my husband is 44 yrs old. It had been 16 years since his vasectomy.
he had his VR 1/29/06. and until now we're still trying. im just so happy for you.

My husband had his VR 7-05. We are still trying to concieve. He had his original vasectomy 2001. The Dr that did the vasectomy took an extremely large amount of vas during the original surgery. At time of the VR there were no sperm present on one side and only sperm fragments on the other. Dr Grey did successfully reconnect the vas-to-vas. Although, no sperm were present at the 2 month semen analysis.
He now has a sperm count that is on the low side Total 34 million and 60% motility.
We have truly tried to concieve. I had a round of clomid. I had polypectomy/D&C surgery in 8-06 to boost fertility. I took Fermera(an alternate RX to clomid) and a HCG shot with an IUI 10-06. So far nothing, yet. But, I believe God has a plan and I trust in him.
Our story is a little unique, we have had 4 children already, together. We thought we were done, and mistakenly had the vasectomy while I was pregnant with our 4th. We truly regret this. Yet,we feel we have been so blessed already.
My prayers are with all of you. I pray each of you will be blessed with children.

We have the SAME story! My DH and I have four little ones (10,7,5,4). He had a vasectomy when the youngest was 3 months. We totally regreted it and had a VR done in 10/05. WE are still TTC. It is so hard to remain patient!

Hi Trinity and Nicole,

I haven't checked in lately, until today. I was suprised to read two replies to my post. We are still trying as well and trying to stay positive. We have now done 3 IUI's total. I even tried this last IUI with injectables. We were very suprised that I was not pregnant. So he got another semen analysis today and the results were not too good.
We ordered that Conception RX that we saw posted on here by "Now Pregnant Fisher, IN". His count after being on them a month seemed to have dropped more than 50%. His count went from 34 million to 18 million and his motility went from 60% to 48% and the morphology went from 30 to 12. That's pretty scary. Although, back in early May 2006, his count took a dip similar to that and then went up a little. I pray that we will all be blessed with another baby or babies. I feel like we have truly tried everything to get pregnant, except IVF.
I'm pretty sure IVF is not an option for us since it is so expensive. It would cost about $10,000 here. I wish you each the best and hope you can post a success story soon.
