It is great to see Artistic Roller Skating on the news! They work just as hard as Ice Skaters and deserve the recognition!

I'm so glad to see artistic skating getting some recognition....people don't realize roller skating is every bit as demanding as ice skating, and just a beautiful to watch. We artistic skaters think our sport should be included in the summer Olyympics and have been trying for years to make that happen. Perhaps if we got more media coverage we could make that happen. We could revive this sport to what it once was - absolutely amazing!

Ice Skating is beautiful and graceful, but so is Artistic Roller Skating. We work and practice just as hard as ice skater. The Winter olympic has its Ice Skating, I think Summer Olympic should have Roller Skating. What we need is public awareness, which you have provided. Now, if ESPN would pick up on Nationals in Omaha, and Worlds in Australia that would be a beginning. Thank you for the coverage.

Thank you for the recognition and coverage of roller skating. It's a challenging and skillful sport that not enough young people know about because of lack of exposure. We wish more kids would get involved. We wish more adults (yes 55+) would skate too as the opportunity is there. Please continue your excellent coverage -- the Christmas show is next!

Thank you so very much for your coverage on the Southern Regional Championships. As the Meet Director for the Artistic portion of the Championships, I personally would like to congratulate you, David Leonard, on a wonderful job that you did on covering all the aspects of our wonderful sport. You took the time and gave the effort, that most reporters don't, to give each of our skaters the respect they deserve. Thanks also should go out to your station. Keep up the great work...I know I speak for the thousands of skaters thoughout this wonderful country of ours.

I have loved artistic roller skating since I was a little girl. Now, as an adult, I am competing again and still love it just the same. So many people don't even realize it exists. Thank you for covering this event and showing everyone what a great sport it truly is.

I would have liked to have seen more coverage on this event. Rollerskating is something most people have done throughout their lives, but few realize it is a competetive WORLD WIDE sport.
Thank you for the interest in this sport.

Thank you Mr. Leonard and your TV studio for recognizing our sport of Roller Figure Skating. It is just as thrilling to watch as ice skating and more difficult to do. It would be so nice for roller skating to be in the summer olympics, don't you think?

Thank you for your coverage of the Southern Region Artistic Roller Skating Championships. I was extremely pleased to note that Mr. Leonard and the TV producers/editors did a fine job on putting forth a balanced look at the hard work the skaters, judges, coaches, rink-operators, parents and supporters of Roller Skating made throughout the year, not just at competition time. I shall look forward to your continuing support of these fine athletes in the future.

I am so glad to see that this sport is finally getting some recognition, especially because I know that if more people knew about it, more people would be involved. Every time I tell someone about how deeply involved I was in this sport they always find it so interesting, but never knew it existed. I miss artistic roller figure skating more than anything and I hope I can return someday soon.

Thanks David Leonard!

I attended the artistic event on Sunday and enjoyed watching the wonderful skating. I do enjoy watching the dance events and every skater did and wonderful job and looked lovely in their outfits. Hats off to the rink for hosting this event.

This is great that you did get this on the local news! This is a sport that should be shown more often. Unlike team sports in high school that get a lot of air time on local television, this is something that when young people get involved, they often stay with it into their adult years. Please show more!
