I will thank her as soon as the uniform issues from last year have been resolved. Either give us the uniforms or refund that portion of the maney.

How much (many) does memeo need? Maybe we need to take up a collection for her, it must be an awful lot. I could identify myself with the coaches. Been there and done that. And by the way, had the same results.

Since you apparently think you will do so much better, you run the Khoury League this year. It doesn't matter who runs it and how well they do, they will not, cannot make EVERYONE happy. We all need to realize that and hope someone will step up and take over, and thank that person for giving our children the opportunity to play for Tamms another summer the way Robin should have been thanked.
OCDADD did your child play for Tamms last year? or was it Mounds? Unless YOU YOURSELF had to deal with the NONSENCE that ROBIN and her band of followers delt out last year to parents and coaches then I suggest you stay out of it. YES ROBIN can be a nice person, but I did witness a few times around the consession stand her putting down her coaches and a few parents that asked questions. NOBODY WAS HAPPY LAST YEAR! MANY AREN'T EVEN PLAYING FOR TAMMS THIS YEAR BECAUSE OF IT! My children (and yes I have 3 children) will NOT!

I COULDN'T AGREE WITH YOU MORE!!!! I will not waste my money in Tamms again since clearly it doesn't matter if people take money from you and then screw everything up from there!

Why aren't these folks that are doing allthis crying and faulting others getting involved themselves? I really think we have a bunch of cry babies that don't do very much community work themselves and run down those that do. I doubt very seriously if you will be missed. But, I do feel soory for your children. I am sure they are saying , why don't you leave us alone and let us play ball

I coached little league in Effingham about five years. Every spring I would write the parents of my players and tell them I didn't care how many games we won. Just as long as every kid on my team had a good time, and enjoyed their summer. By the way, the last year I coached our team was league champions. I must have done something right. I imagine there was a few parents that thought I didn't do a very good job. Sounds like some of you are in that group, or maybe I sshould say , in that class.

If som of you bitchers will let it be known how much money you are talking about, maybe some of us could take up a collection for you. I am sure you are real hard up and need the money. We will buy your kid a cap and pair of shorts or what ever.

Quit changing your username to make it sound like more people agree with you. You have no idea what any of us do for our community or with our lives. The bottom line is, if you accept responsibility for something you should do it right or step aside. There were people trying to help last year but were told it was “all under control”. Clearly it was not. I will not offer my help again, I will not participate at Tamms and don’t care if I’m “missed” or not. Grow up and accept responsibility for your mistakes.

I guess your idea of duing it right is cut in stone. Your idea of "doing it right" may be just as wrong in some eyes as the people you are running down. I haven't heard of but a couple people say things were so bad in the ball league last year. It looks like maybe two or three people are trying to down grade the league management from last year. A program like this needs the whole communities backing. We have a very fine vacility for baseball and softball, and I understand the village has a nice grant to further improve it.

As a matter of fact her child did play for Tamms, and her husband helped coach the team, and she kept score. As for not playing for Tamms no body will be as of right now, because no one wants to run the league. Where all those people that could do it so much better now? Oh, thats right, they are on their computers griping about how "poorly" it was run last year, still.

Well, if you are implying that it is only a FEW people that are disgusted with Robin, THINK AGAIN! And yes, I HAVE HEARD HER BAD MOUTHING OTHER PARENTS THAT HAD CONCERNS TOO AND THEIR COACHES! I agree with MeMo...quit changing your name to argue your CAUSE!!! And as for ALL THE OTHERS THAT COULD DO SOOOOO....MUCH BETTER, I happen to know that Robin was OFFERED HELP FROM BOTH MY DAUGHTERS COACHES AND MY SONS'! SHE THOUGHT SHE COULD HANDLE IT ALL HERSELF! Well, what a bang up job she did! She not only ran people off but now her lil' flunkies are now trying to justify the fact that she SCREWED PARENTS...! RIGHT IS RIGHT...AND NO, I'M NOT HARD UP FOR MONEY AT ALL, but when I pay money for something, I except to get what I PAID FOR!

a.k.a. OCDADD. OK, first of all "just lookin", my child played for Tamms last year. There were hardly enough players for the Atoms ball team to HAVE a team. It is really funny how everyone can get on here under made-up names and talk big. Anyway...Maybe Robin should have put those coaches and parents down to their faces, but then again, maybe those same coaches and parents should have went to Robin rather than behind her back. But that is neither here nor there. It takes A LOT to run the Khoury League, or else I would volunteer myself. I wouldn't want that headache. There are several teams and games to schedule around, concession stand help, DAILY runs to Cape to buy supplies for the concession stand, keeping up the fields, plus other things I probably haven't thought of because I have never ran a Khoury League before. Yes, I myself dealt with the issues last year, I just didn't think it was THIS big of a deal. Unless you yourself are woman or man enough to come to me in person, I suggest you kiss my ass.

"Know before you speak" I do believe is my sister. Yes, she had a child on the same team as mine. Her husband coached their team and my husband helped along with two other team dads. I wouldn't think it would take a rocket scientist to figure out who we are. Well, you obviously already knew who I was under OCDADD. Maybe that is why you won't put your name on here?

This is Trish, and this is the only name I have posted under. I don't know who all the other posts are from. Only know mine and my sisters. My husband coached the team that OCDADD's, or Steph's, which ever you choose, played on. Her husband helped out and Steph kept score, as I said before. Yeah, there were some problems, but the only people complaining are the parents. Did you kids have fun? I know mine did, and when I say that I mean the whole team, not just my son.

First of all, you are taking this offensivly. I said nothing about you personally. YOU had nothing to do with the running of the league last year. I was told who were 'alas' was and thought it funny that you would be on here. YOU ARE CORRECT, it is a BIG responsiblity that should be done in a group, rather than one person. Good for Robin for stepping up last year. My complaint, and those of many others was OUR money was mismanaged. I simply agreed with MeMo on the points I listed above. I was NOT taking an attack on YOU! YES, you were correct. Robin SHOULD HAVE ADDRESSED THE PARENTS SHE HAD ISSUES AND THE COACHES instead of running her mouth. I KNOW what I heard from her own mouth as I know things were addressed to her. NO I DID OR WILL NOT EVER SEND MY CHILDREN BACK TO TAMMS AGAIN TO PLAY BALL! The last group burned a lot of people and I have heard talks of other leagues forming in neighboring towns and pulling out of Tamms all together. I do however apoligize Stephanie on a offening you.

It would be great if somebody COULD step up and take over, though. There are some kids that cannot go to other towns because their parents cannot afford to drive too far, or work and can't drive too far, or whatever reason, and the summer ball league is for the kids, not us parents. I would give it a go, but my husband said HELL NO!! lol

I totally agree! Although it has been ages ago since I played, it was always a GREAT ballpark! It really is ashame to see it like it is now. Being at Tamms was very convenient for all of us and until last year, it had been GREAT taking my kids there. My husband works away from home a lot and there would be no way that I would try it alone. I did ask two of my kids coaches from last year if they would take it over, but they would only do it if it were more than one of two people. Maybe the village of Tamms needs to get involved and maybe appoint people to run it. Just a thought :)
