Tamarac: Man killed, two injured in head-on crash identified --...

Authorities on Friday identified the persons involved in a head-on crash on West Commercial Boulevard near Florida's Turnpike this week, including a man who died.

Commercial Blvd path over the Turnpike is a death trap.
Only small pipes seperate the two three lanes of speeding traffic. Speed limit should be reduced and construction work be complete as soon as possible

I work with the mother of the son that was killed and her daughter is in the hospital. There are no words that you can say to bring back her family, this was a senseless accident. The City of Fort Lauderdale need to make it safer for the drivers. The road has been under construction for the longest time and it need to be completed soon....

it's not in fort lauderdale and the road is not under construction. also the road was not made for racing. the car was not bumped from behind. the the cars racing sideswiped each other

January 29th 3 others were killed in an accident near the same spot. The car heading east jumped the median was hit head on. It is a dangerous location. They are adding lanes at the overpass and people drive way to fast coming off of the turnpike heading west and are constantly switching lanes heading east because the traffic backs up to get on the turnpike. Also heading east people are cutting over 2 and 3 lanes to get in the sunpass lane to head south. It's crazy. I leave my home at 49th and Commercial and people are running that light all the time. You dare not go on the green until you see all cars stopped in all lanes. Five deaths in 7 months. Please be careful.

Your right is was not in fort lauderdale but tamarac just the same a-- and the roads are under contruction and I live and travel these roads everyday. If you were not there then you need to keep out of it.....We was told by authority that Michael was not at fault..... and there was no racing....If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything...

We are all extremely hurt and angry at the same time about what happened to these innocent children. Still noone can truly understand what the parents of the victims are going through.My prayers go out to them.Michael and Jannel will be missed forever.The truth about this accident will never bring them back,but eyewitnesses claim that there was not speed involved.Regardless, it was the very tragic day for all of the people affected by this senseless accident.

I hope all are doing well from the tragic accident last week. I am going to make this short. I am remorseful, and you should be too. Shame on those who are using this venue to pass blame without knowing the facts, shame on you!
The recent loss of a my son’s good friend Michael Angelo DiPasquo this past Wednesday is very sad to all, along with the recent loss of Jannel Thompson. MarieFrance is in the hospital recovering after today’s surgery. I found out about the accident when I was taking my son to College at SIU, last Thursday. So please can you keep them in your thoughts and prayers, I would appreciate that. A lot of people knew Mike, he was well loved. He would do anything for anyone, and was always a blast to be around. I am sure things are going to be better eventually, but for now, it’s not going so well. I hope all of you are doing well. Take care of your selves, trust your heart, and don’t let anyone tell you that you aren’t special, Mike you are very special to everyone. Everyone please take time to be positive and focus on the good not the bad.
