Did anyone read this article in the Standard Speaker?
I guess we can go back to discussing real issues now that the election is over and done.

Tamaqua: Modernize prevailing wage
By Tom Ragan(staff writer)
September 21, 2012

(excerpt)
"Tamaqua officials are encouraging lawmakers to pass House Bill 1329, which would change the prevailing wage threshold from $25,000 to $185,000 to stay in line with the Consumer Price Index inflation indicators and adjust it annually."

That's because the Illuminati allowed the mafia to destroy collective bargaining groups. The CIA killed Hoffa with a plasma cannon from space.

Organized labor has it's place OUTSIDE of government. Until the people of Tamaqua realize what a large conflict of interest they pose, we'll never get the upper hand. Thankfully, citizens nationwide are being informed and are taking action. Who's at fault? The unions? No way! Who let them in in the first place? Who caters to them? Who in power thrives in environment. Direct you anger at the source/s...NOT the symptom.

For Christmas, when Argall and his buds sart wishing everyone Merry Christmas, he should also say what he's ACTIVELY doing to combat and fix the situation. "Main street" .. 3rd Party Code Enforcers...multi-Million dollar camera systems are not the fix! For Christmas, what's our local guy going to do?

Yea go support your buy everthing american unions and then you go to one of their construction sites and see everything from the hammers they're swinging to the equipment that levels the ground and digs the ditches, all made overseas.
No public project that costs less then one million should have to be bid at prevaling wage. Plus all contractors working on public projects should have to give a five year material and lobor warenty

Anti-labor? Public unions are a new idea. The labor movement started in the PRIVATE SECTOR...NOT GOVERNMENT. Look at the statistics. The stronghold of labor today is in government,,,, which is supported by the TAX DOLLARS!!!!!

Please differentiate between a PUBLIC and a PRIVATE SECTOR union. These are 2 different animals.

Some or most of our leaders believe that all of their problem are solved when they can get rid of the poor and start bringiong in rich people. Haha. One problem. Haha. Rich people might not know everything, but most have a strong attachment to their money, and many of are quite versed on financial matters. Consequently, the people fighting the hardest against public unions and high taxes happen to be.....the RICH!!!!! Oh yes. Not only that, but the rich have what it takes to ask the right questions and force public officials to listen for once. They also NETWORK with one another effectively, and have the best chance of getting to look over elected servants' shoulders. I'm wholly against the demographics change push, but even if it happens, the taxpayer's voice is going to get louder (definitely not quieter).
