I have a few ideas to save the city of gainesville money. (1) Do not pay a former city manager his salary after he resigns after accusations of sexual harrassment when his contract did not guarantee it. (2) Do not pay useless leagal fees over a meaningless lawsuit with a local paper. The law is very clear on open records. (3) Shut down the money pit that is known as the Frances Meadows Center.

Just think of how many people will be so adversely affected by these furloughs, yet, in this economy tax revenues are way down and the citizens just don't have any money. These are desperate times for American citizens but we still have to pay for illegal aliens to get free benefits and also the high cost of their criminal behaviour!

Daily Horoscope for December 8

Virgo

At some point today you'll enjoy working on a pastime or getting together with a group of kindred spirits. This will help you to relax and remind you that there's much more to life than mundane chores and a need to pay the bills. A friend is full of quiet commonsense that's well worth listening to, even if it won't set the world alight.
