Formerly High Delta Safari, Wild Country Safari park is under new ownership and will be better than ever.
Starting the second weekend in October, they will bring back the "Screaming Safari" Haunted Forest.
Come out in the Month of October for the scariest Haunted, Halloween attraction in North Louisiana! The Screaming Safari isn't like any other haunted house because it takes place in a REAL forest- with all the creepy, natural ambiance to go with it. There aren't any walls to protect you from the horrors that lurk in the trees, and no roof to keep out the howling October winds.
The park itself will open 3 days per week at the end of October and 7 days per week in the spring. They will have a petting zoo, walk through enclosures with Coatimundi, porcupines, kangaroo, and many other new animals, and the drive through will be 240 acres with over 300 exotic species, including but not limited to zebra, buffalo, Zebu, Camels, Deer, and too many others to mention.
