I am a teacher in an urban district- and this is a perfect example of why so many teachers leave the profession. There are many days when I am fearful of my students. I teach in a middle school as well and it is exhausting to be cussed at daily, have bodies "accidently" run into you, items stolen from the classroom, cars vandalized, etc.
It is getting to the point that the kids who want to learn aren't able to anymore becuase the 10 percent of bad kids are wearing down teachers to the point they leave the profession. Or at least the urban schools and end up getting paid less money in a private school where the kids actually respect the teachers and administrators and the parents work with the district. Someday......hopefully in the near future, things will turn around in our public education system. I hope its soon. I am emotionally and physically exhausted everyday when I finally get home.

This kid seemed to think it was ok if he'd just say he thought it was a student. So thats ok I quess, hugh. If he did this to my daughter I'd see RED so fast I'd do everything I could to get this kid into a long term facility for help. This is the 2nd school system to be tossed out of. I hope someone sees
his pattern and does something instead of pushing him off to another school.
Because he is the making of a sexual prediter.

He was not tossed out of Tallmadge; not expelled. He did not face any charges in Tallmadge. His parents asked someone to press charges. They declined.
The media is turning this into a frenzy when he should be getting help. I know personally this his parents have searched desperately for help. Maybe with the help of the media that can actually happen now.

This is a direct result of America turning it's back on God, and taking God out of our classrooms.
We as a so called free society has introduce inmorality to our children, through music,tv,porn, and public indecency, and our disregard of God's moral standard. Our so called leaders sit on Capital Hill and pass these inmoral laws and when our young men act out on what they are being tought by society, we want to condemn them. But America is under judgment. And you reap what you sow! Repent of your National Sin America!Turn unto our only help Jesus Christ.

I know the family, and I have to state. This has nothing to do with the race of the child. I do think if that wooden paddle was in effect it may help. But this child was abused and neglected in his life as a small child (and is numb to pain) until he was adopted by this loveing family in Tallmadge. They have tried to help him with meds, theropy, doctors, and anything they could think of. The agencies have failed this child and the family, and the schools think they can just keep passing him along to other schools. He does need HELP, and needs some type of consiquense. He stated he thought he was in boys room, then he stated he thought it was a student not a teacher. He has problems, and someone needs to step in and help these parents! Thank god it was a adult teacher and something is finally going to happen instead of a younger child who could of been afraid to speak up, then he could continue to stalk or grope others. Thank god the system is finally taking it serious, too bad it had to get to this point though. Maybe next time the system will take parents more seriously when they ask for HELP. Not to mention if this had been my daughter or myself, I think I would have to go back to Tall. Schools and confrount the person who transfered him on.

This is the typical liberal attitude which expects ever-buddy else to solve their problems for them. The parents bear all of the responsibility in this case. They are responsible for raisin' the child and seekin' out the necessary help for the child, when the child expresses physical or mental problems. No matter what, it is their responsibility and no one elses.

Iff'n it's goin' to be considered ever-buddy elses problem, as noted by this poster, then mebbe ever-buddy should be allowed to decide who has children and who doesn't. And I'm sure ever-buddy knows what would happen iff'n that path is chosen.

Quite obvious all the people who post comments dont know fully what they are talking about. The parents in this case are awesome people. They are doing a fantastic job with these children for the last six years that they have had them. Its the birth parents who scarred these children, then its someone else's job to raise them and hope they fit into a social settings. The agencies who put this on the family are to blame, not giving full facts of the childrens history, then not stepping in when problems like this arrise and leave it up to the adoptive parents to figure out. Not to mention when they do "seek out" the help is not available. Our taxes pay to keep things like this off our streets and out of our schools, and NOONE was there to step in and assist them. Its a real shame the media only puts what they want in the aritcles, and not the full 100% facts of the situation. I feel for this family, they are in my thoughts, and prayers. As for the boy, he better straighten up and fly right or its gonna be a long road ahead of him.
