Today, the Black Technician Debra from Tallassee Rite Aid treated me like GARBAGE & totally HUMILIATED me & my daughter, I feel very VIOLATED...The way I was treated today was uncalled for, unethicathical, unprofessional & I feel very discriminated against. The pharmacist Jay laughed along with her in what I took as to be supportive of her actions. You do NOT treat customers with dis-respect. What Flagged Records? Rite Aid, you just lost several customers.

First of all Mr Earl Roberts, to refer to anyones color before you tell your story shows you that are bias. And furthermore you can't use the word discriminate. Second of all I was present in the store when you asked for psuedophedrine produts which you was over you limits to purchase. And I saw nothing that would back up your claim of being treated unfairly, unprofessional,or unethical. Go cry to someone else.......

Ms. Smith, if you will go back and read MY comment, you will see that I did not reference the technician color, for all you know, I may be black as well. The "black technician" referred to by "Iknowwhoyouare" is a very professional, and warm, friendly person. The medication you mentioned had nothing to do with my initial post on this topic. I don't use that medication. I think the proper admonition is "look before you leap". Apology accepted in advance

Ms. Smith,
I just wanted to add a little more about Debra. She is the only person in that store who ever made me feel like my business there was appreciated. Her being black has nothing to do with anything, she is one of those rare people who seems to transcend the color lie. For you to misread and publicly accuse me of racial bias shows your readiness to participate in what you mistakenly accuse me of. Debra is a beautiful, caring person and I find it hard to believe that she would be unkind to anyone. Remember look both ways before you cross the street.

You people are CRAZY if you think that the BLACK TECHNICAN DEBRA FROM RITE AID IS CAREING, APPRECIATIVE, PROFESSIONAL, WARM OR FRIENDLY!!!!!!! The first words out of her mouth were "WHAT DO YOU WANT" & it wasn't said WARMELY nor FRIENDLY by any stretch of the imagination! I stand by my statement of Jan.10. Discrimination fits regardless of her race or mine.

I know the technician personally. She has a HUGH chip on her shoulder. She is rude and purposely humiliates and intimidates people. Or at least she attempts to. I'm not fooled by her and neither are the higher-ups at Rite Aid.

I do not know what you all are referring to but I have gone to Rite Aid in Tallassee for over 10 years. I respect and believe all the personnel in the Pharmacy are great. They have always treated me fair and honest even when I was not in a good mood. They are good people and I will go there until I do not live here anymore.

If you worked for a company who demanded things that they knew was too "unreal" to achieve, you probaly would be rude to someone by accident all the while trying to keep a smile on your face knowing that this company was about to fold. Don't blame the workers, blame that sorry a-- Rite Aid!! Maybe CVS in this spot will be better. Give them a chance..

Yes, Elaine, we must give CVS a chance. I certainly intend to. Not much choice. My beef with RA and the technician was back during a time when NOBODY knew this store would be closing. So the defense that "she" knew the store was about to fold is not true. But that is neither here nor there, the store is closing and it's a done deal. Maybe being in a different place where "she" isn't given "complete" control things will be different. I hope so.

To iamreal: If I had to try and guess your identity, I would say your initials are DS, if not, then my apologies. I don't have a problem with Debra, I was merely making an observation from the point of view of "someone on the outside looking in", but anyhow, I wish all the people at RA good luck, they derserve better than they got.
