There is a lot of racial proling going on in the great town of Eclectic, Alabama. Have you been effected?

How have you been profiled against? I believe that Eclectic had alot of free years with no enforcement. Now that there are officers who want to do their jobs, the people who are arrested seem to have complaints. Learn right from wrong and maybe you won't feel this way.

I dont think any of the Officers are profiling anyone. I think that they are doing there job. Why do you feel that you have been profiled

Plain you are right! It is past time that the people stand up and do something about it. I have heard a lot of allegations made about treatment received at the hands of some of the police officers there from illegal stops, searches, demeaning comments and the list goes on.
These officers are allowed to practice hate and get paid a salary for it.

It is easy to say that certain things do not happen when it does not directly affect you or a family member. To say racial profiling no longer exists is pure ignorance. Of course you do not realize that it exists because you are not the one who was targeted or affected. I truly beleive that people who break the law should be punished, but don't target a certain group of people beause of their skin color. I'm not saying that every police officer does it, I'm saying that I know for a fact that it still exists.

Racial profiling goes on more today. I myself find it more in the older people who were raised in the days where the white ppl were over the blk ppl but its 2008, nearly 2009 now, and it dont matter what color your skin is, you can do anything you want. There's a lot of hate going towards interracial relationships but what most people dont realize is that it goes on. I know some people who will stay unnamed that have said on occasion "Dont let that boy in this house because all my medicene is in there" Its a crying shame when someone says that. I mean some of my best friends who are always there for me are black and let someone do something hateful towards them and see what I dont do!

every one claims that there is so much racial discrimination there. these same officers are spending alot of time at each others homes and their kids are spending the night at each others houses. it's eclectic!!! you know you have seen them(the different races of law enforcement) together. that's not profiling. If you would learn to live on the right side of the law, you would not have to be worried about what the officers are doing!!! Quit using that damn excuse and get off your butt to fix your own problems. It's amazing to me that the complainers are not doing more than sitting around typing on chat lines and pleading guilty in court if they are being profiled against. Shut up and find a new complaint. Yes there is racism still in this country but that will never change. You better get a clue. Racists like BIN LADEN are our real problem. So if you want to complain about something, complain when he comes back to the US for some more of us Americans. He ain't taking no one to jail---he's coming to kill your family and friends. Get your priorities straight and sit on the right side of the law. Have you ever tried doing their job????? No, because you don't agree with what they are doing, right. The day will come when you will need that officer to come to your home, I'll bet you that they show up no matter what race. I'll also bet that they will be the ones to start CPR on your child, when he stops breathing from the drive-by. Can you save your child's life??? Fix the problem by making yourself better instead of complaining about someone else. Volunteer some of your time to ride with an officer, or help out your emergency departments. Have I ever seen you on the reserve officer program or the volunteer firefighter program? Didn't think so.

Get over it really needs to get over it!!! Evidently you do not live in this rural town or refuse to face reality. Some of these officers are racists. I don't want my tax dollars paying the salary of anyone who is a loose cannon with a badge. At least Bin Laden lets us know he hates this country. Blacks have given their lives for this country; at least have the decency to treat them like citizens. There is a way to make an arrest when people break the law. That same principle should be applied no matter the race or gender. We will not shut up until justice roll down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream.

Keeping it Real needs to move on somewhere to where you are wanted then. maybe its not your skin color, maybe its just they dont like you, period!!! Eerytime someone has to play that stupid race card. I am from Eclectic, born and raised.Probably went to school with your dumbass. I also joined the military. When done with that, came back to Eclectic. It hasn't changed except the law is doing there job. Don't like it then leave. Find that place where you can do what you want. Pay your tax dollars to someone else.
