Another life lost in our phony drug war.The number one industry next to energy is illegal trafficking.Drugs are illegal, but anybody who wants them can still get them easily after how many years of a war on drugs?

How do they know she left voluntarily with the people who are now suspects in her murder?

Interesting how our young educated youth still have to learn the hard way and that when you decide to play with the devil you almost never win..
Interesting also that this current Administration is willing to give Nexico a Billion Dollars worth of aid to fight the drug czars in that county yet we won't 'pony up' and build a 'durable fence plus utilize our National Guard on the Border to STOP THE DRUG TRAFFIC AND ILLEGAL ALIENS FROM ENTERING OUR COUNTRY...and killing our youth... The games being played by both Democrats and Republicans together with our lame duck President is truly disgraceful... Trouble is the THREE AMIGOS who want to be our President are no better... This country sure has got some serious problems looming ahead... |

It is very common practice for the Police to intimidate those they arrest on drug charges and tell them they are going to prison for years, etc... trumping up the charges to felonies and telling them to set up mre felonies for them to arrest and then they can go free. The State Attorney (of course) knows nothing about it...The Police always do this. They put innocent lives at risk. They are judge, jury, and executioner. |

Well, I'm glad to hear there will be some blame put on someone for her death! These cops played God with her life and there was no reason for her to die for possesion of MJ or whatever they trumped up to back her into this situation. If she was my sister or daughter u can bet your a** someone in charge would pay!! I'm so disgusted at this senseless murder of this young girl. God Bless her poor family and friends for this terrible loss.

I have been involved in the criminal justice system on drug charges. The DIU will offer anyone they believe will further their cause the opportunity to be a confidential informant, but NO ONE is forced into it. She had a choice to face up to her decision to break the law and do her time, or try to get herself out of troubleby being a sneaky rat. Had she owned up to her decisions and actions she would be alive today.

She got caught with a LOT more than a joint. All I'm saying is if she had done the time for the crime she might be a little uncomfortable in jail, but she'd be alive!!! The cops did not make the decision for HER to break the law in the first place. SHE DID!!

hello people...she was busted for trafficing esctacy...not just pot...
Whatever happen to people taking responsibility for thier own actions and stop placing blame where it doesnt belong... Stop blaming the police, she did not follow protocal, told most of her friends but not her family or lawyer, IT WAS HER CHOICE TO GO WITH THESE MURDERERS...SHE WAS NOT FORCED!!! |
No one is denying that Rachel should have been punished for her actions, but with her life? The Tallahassee Police have a job to do, and that includes protecting its citizens. Where were they? How did they lose her for HOURS? For a girl that was caught with pot and 6 pills of ecstasy, it was smart to tell her to go in and purchase A HANDGUN, TWO OUNCES OF COCAINE, and 1500 PILLS OF ECSTASY? |

When in the situation she was in with the police after she was arrested, once you mention that you need to discuss the "snitch contract" they offer you with an attorney they call the deal off. I do not justify her crime, she should have done her punishment and let the police do their own drug buys. I believe it is in the constitution that the police should not put anyone in harms way and these situations can cause the innocent relatives of the ones arrested, harm. |

That is typical protocal of the police is to get the one arrested to provide much bigger fish, drugs, etc. A lot of times they have no involvement with the harder stuff and it makes them stick out like a sore thumb. |
It's called internal affairs |
|
That is your opinion. There job is to go after bad cops. Police are always getting caught doing things wrong. If Internal affairs wasn't around things would be much worse I bet. There would be worse beating, setups, entrapment, planting evidence on people etc. etc. |

|
Besides these cops did nothing wrong. This girl turn state and got dealt with. That's the rules of the game she was playing.

She went outside of protocal and thats what got her killed...she chose not to do jail time and become a snitch without telling her family and lawyers and yet told all of her friends...maybe one of them sold her out.... |
