I came to Florida from the City of Hampton, Virginia, and can tell you that law enforcement there tried to make my husband an informant after they found what amounted to a marijuana joint on his person. My husband never made a pot deal with an armed dealer but Hampton cops insisted that he go on Drug for Arms (DWA's) deals that would have rendered him dead today. He chose his life over DWA's and got sent into Virginia's inhumane jail/prision system. Justice, via law enforcement, does not value human life. He is alive today.

My heart goes out to Rachel Hoffman's family. I implore you: Do not let those cops get away with having essentially murdered a 23-year-old, near-child, who is now one more victim of America's barbaric War on Drugs.

The police always want the person they arrest on drug charges to become an informant, plus they intimidate them to sign their so called "contract" BUT!!! they have to give the police at least three felonies (usually more dangerous than the arrestee's original crime).

Makes you wonder if the police can get charges dropped or either not brought to the States Attorney, they can also make up charges.
