Worried about my brother wrote: I just found this site and hopefully, someone can help me. I just wanted to ask a question. Does anyone what an "actual day" is like the Chilton County Jail? My brother, who is 37 years old, and never been in any kind of trouble, was just sentenced to serve 1 year in the Chilton Jail. I am so worried about him and what little bit of information that I have obtained thus far is not very promising! If anyone out there could give me some type of info, that would be great. Thanks .YOU BETTER HOPE HES NOT A SEX OFFENDER OR COWARD

OK so there is a new cop in town BEWARE he will unlawfully search your car. So everyone cruising up and down 31 BEWARE!!!! Do not have anything in your possession, he will pull you over for some BS and then start questioning you. He kept telling me I had been drinking and I had not!!!!! And he just kept on and on with it. I even agreed to submit to an breathalizer (spelling) and he didn't make me take one. CHILTON COUNTY SUCKS!!!! This guy looks like a midget so if a cop pulls you over who can barely see over the steering wheel he's the one. Know your rights and do not let him violate your rights as an American Citizen. By the way he didn't find anything and that really got the lil midget angry.

He is actually incarcerated due to a traffic accident where he was charged with assault in the 2nd. Apparently, in Chilton County it's all in who you know and unfortunately my brother didn't know anyone.

Did you consent to the search? If you said no and he did anyway it should be on his dash cam.Call a lawyer. The ACLU would be on him like a pack of wolves. If you FINALLY gave in then you gave up your rights and allowed a warrentless search, which keeps him within the law.Never say yes to warrentless searches, you won't look guilty. You'll look American. He's obviously learning from the best.Classic game that you shouldn't have played.Save arguments for traffic court and remain quiet. In my years at Maplesville,I saw this very often,to the point that it was childish.I fell for it a few times, enough that I saw the pattern and stopped playing the game. The Game makes the un-wary want to prove their innocence without the policeman verbally demanding warrentless searches. It makes YOU demand that he search you without a warrent, which makes his actions legal.Mind games can be fun. Exercise your rights daily. If you don't use 'em, you'll lose 'em... Peace

Also from what I understand he came from Maplesville, so he is just bringing it to Chilton County now!! I think he was just trying to make a name for himself at the new job!!! I have warned everyone that I can about him and have studied up on my rights. But it is scary when a police officer is playing mind games with people who have no understanding of the actual laws!!!

What are we supposed to do when Christianity becomes a crime and church members are on the terrorist watch list? What if the police are trained to believe that the signers of the Declaration Of Independence are terrorists and ditto for any of us "strict constitutionalists"? It's already happening. Watch this video showing fema training from 2001. http://www.campaignforliberty.com/blog.php... Peace

Good luck with that, lonely.Of course, for every day that he stays, the sherriff makes a little more money,so his release isn't exactly top priority. I just turned down a very good deal on property in Chilton Co.,Lol.I still giggle when I think about it.

Someone that can spell wrote: I came to this site by accident and I must say I would expect nothing less than some inbreed from Chilton County to judge everyone else because they have gotten in some trouble before. Everyone makes mistakes and yes some are worse than others but who are any of you to judge. I have seen the inside of the Chilton County jail and plus eaten the food there. I also know a a few things that went on while there and people getting hurt. Chilton Born must work at the jail because of the way he or she was talking! I know several of the cops and jail workers that are out drinking and driving on nights of the week and they are the same ones that arrest several others for doing what they are guilty of. I hope that one day while you are running your mouth judging everyone that you get caught and then you have to set in there and see how it feels sleeping on a mat with holes in it and eating the mystery meals every night and not to mention the bologna and peanut butter sandwiches everyday for lunch. You might not be so quick to talk then! I cant spell neither but i know I dont like peanutbutter and bolona but i do know how to stay out of jaiL THANK YER

Well I have been in the Chilton County Jail aka Chilton Hilton or Blue Top Inn....yea the officers do take their authority to extremes sometimes!!! No it's not a bad jail but I do know someone that has died in the County Jail from not having his medication or at least not being made to take it. As for another friend went into a seizure because they game him the wrong doseage of his medication. So I think they need to pay more attention to how they treat and mistreat inmates!!! No matter what you have done...we all have to face GOD someday and then we all will question the things we have done and why we judge people. ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ANYONE or PUNISH THEM FOR GOOD!

heres an idea ,, dont do anything to get yourself in jail . i dont think you should be treated real good in jail , because alot of the folks in there do the same things over over again because its better for them in jail . make it hard on them!!!! and i know someone that spent 4 days in there, he said it was not that .

Thank God I had the good sense to move out of that place! It is a joke! I was born and raised there and I would defintely never move back although my parents still live there. The law enforcement is crooked and that court house is a JOKE! The judges and lawyers hang out together, run around with each other (man or woman) and their ethics are NONE! I had a common name along with 6 other Chilton co. residents and I was picked up, thrown in jail, and one of the officers knew me and knew they had the wrong person but went along with it because he didnt want to admit that his fellow officers were wrong. It was, after 5 hours, settled and I was released but I will tell you, all those deputies are family members of the sheriff and high school drop-outs, lazy fat-asses that don't know s*** from a hole in the ground. The sheriff is the highest paid official in the system along with the Superintendent of Education and that is a joke as well. Look up Chilton County Schools and see how they rank in Alabama. The good thing that came out of me being raised there, is that I got motivated to obtain my Criminal Justice degree and it is all because of the Chilton County. Avoid that area while traveling AT ALL COSTS!

The Chilton County Jail correction officers and deputies are only doing their job! Maybe some people shouldn't act stupid or they wouldn't be sitting in jail! The inmates have no right to complain about what they're eating and the environment they are in. Did the people who work there make you break the law? Are YOU paying for the food you eat? NO, didn't think so. Some inmates do get put in the holding chair, get tased, or sprayed. Why, you must ask? It's because your one of those little idiotic people who thinks they can run their mouth and do whatever they hell you want to. It also pisses me off that people want to complain about cops, but who do you call when your house gets broklen into? Who do you call when someone steals something of yours? Who do you call when someone tries causing harm to you or your loved ones? Who ALWAYS shows up when you need them? It's the deputies/cops of chilton county! So your mad because you get pulled over and have drugs in your vehicle or are drinking and driving and you get taken to jail? Would you rather be sitting in jail or prison for killing another person in a car crash because, you were driving high or drunk? Who knows, maybe the person you killed in a car crash was your kid, mom, dad, wife, husband, ect. Think about the other driver also..he/she is another persons loved one. BUT, all you want to do is complain about cops, never thank them. I think everyone needs to show cops more appreciation.
