I am 100% clueless when it comes to how it works during a trail and sentenceing.
So can someone exlane to me WTF did paul sanchez have to bargin with that got all the other charges dropped, How does a DA and public pretenderd come to an agreement over a person that has been in trouble sinc before he left grade school. The rumor was around here locally is that they found his bag of meth stuffed up his ***hole while he was at the hospital after the wreck . Do you think maybe the DA was squeamish about having to handel it so he just dropped the charges ?

The question begs to be asked.
Which are you more sorry for , the poor undeserving criminal that has plead guilty as charged minus the dropped charges, or the family members that will be living for the rest of their lives knowing that the person that killed their grand mother and very young son can feel the sun on his face , enjoy watching his very young family members grow up , can talk to his grand mother ,.which one or you most sorry for?

I'm not sure which is worse. Having to close the lid on my 21 year old daughters coffin or hearing those first few shovels of dirt rattle on her box while her grave was being filled in.

BTW mr heller,
Good luck with the bill your taking to Santa Fe about anyone gulity of killing while driving drunk should be sentened to the lifetime of the one they kill. The drunk that killed my girl ,a few months later OD on drugs and booze killing his self . But Not to many familiies of the victims are as lucky as that.

Oh boy, our kids would be about the same age had a drunk driver not made the stupid choices. My son would have turned 30 a month ago.
My heart goes out to you. I hate the flashbacks of closing the lid saying goodbye for the last time.

There are so many flash backs, the last time I seen her, the moment I was told she was gone, the closing of that lid, the list goes on ,,,
