Many, many years ago I was a tourist in your town and happened to meet a very handsome young man by the name of Terry Sweet. I visited your town recently and learned that he died several years ago. I was wondering if anyone could e mail a photo of that magnificent young man to me. I frequentlyt have dreams about him, not sure why.
Thanks,
Pat

This man is my uncle, (My dad's Brother) He was shot and killed in 1972. I am 27 and I have heard all my life how great of a guy he was. I also played for Eastern and Now my younger brother plasy for eastern. It was cool being on Campus almost 30 years later and having people know who you are because of him

I thought he passed away in 1976. Very handsome, blond wavy hair, played football at ENMU, a young gentleman with nice broad shoulders, occasionally wore glasses. I met him at a party in Albuquerque with his friends, Norman & Danny(?). A friend & I were leaving and he wanted us to stay. First time I had ever literally been picked up at a party. He was shot & killed at a party in Portales with a shotgun.

I played on the same team with Terri at ENMU. He played defensive end and I played tight end so we lined up across each other daily in practice. Great athlete and football player. He was very close with a very nice young woman named Terri also.....lost track of her over the years. His life ended way too soon.

weird I grew up with Terry and his brother in Moriarty new Mexico. I was told in later years that he played basketball for the university of new Mexico. When he was killed it was a very sad day for me. Especially when I learned why. Still think about him sometimes. If you ever see Timothy tell him I said hi and he and his brother is always in my memories.

I was a cheerlearder at ENMU between 1974 and 1976. I knew Shannon Davis, too. Terry was a wonderful man. I remember him well. His girlfriend, Terri Goode was the perfect match. I remember Jerry Wright, one of my best friends at ENMU said--here come Terri/y---Good n Sweet. The school was devasted over the loss.

I worked on the railroad with Terri the summer before his death. His dad, as well as mine, were employed by what was then know as AT&SF Railroad and they paved the way for our jobs working track maintenance. We both attended ENMU. Anyway, Terri became a small college all-American and was a tremendous athlete. Unfortunately, I heard from several very good sources that Terri achieved his physical prowess through the use of steroids. Again, hearsay, but the story goes that Terri went into a "roid rage" the night of the murder and was killed by an individual who perceived that he was being bullied by Terri over a girl.

I played football, basketball, and ran track with Terry. In my book he was the greatest basketball player to come out of Fort Sumner High School. Great friend and natural born leader!
