Only 3 yrs for leaving an elderly man for almost dead. Sad. Will he get out in 1 1/2yrs?

From the Article: "Raymond was also sentenced Wednesday for an identity theft charge in an unrelated case, but received no additional time for the misdemeanor offense."

Why oh why is not additional time tack on for Identity Theft. That is not a victimless crime either!!! WTHay!

He'll probably tell his fellow inmates that he nearly killed a man with his bare hands. He'll leave out the 89 year-old part.

3 years
automatic one third off for good behavior
plus likely early release now
too bad the old guy didnt have a ccw permit
would have solved the problem and saved the taxpayers the $

Yup. It takes a REAL MAN to beat up on an 89 year old. Hope the old guy is doing OK. Hope the SOB who beat him burns in hell.

Raymond got off too easy. So what if he had no prior conviction. This should have ben a conviction for atempted murder. He left that old guy to DIE. Attorney Wasserman is a blob of rotting raw sewage for thinking this was nota serious crime and his client merely overreacted. He better hope his client does not "overreact" the same toward him. Scum_bag.

I can't believe he got such a short period of time. Only three years for beating an 89-year-old man? What happened to the elder abuse laws? If he appeared threatening the 27-year-old could have just run away from him and gotten help. He could have called for help for the 89-year-old's behavior instead of beating him!

Good going punk. Maybe several a$$ rapes will teach you how to control your anger. Beating an 89 year old man...are you kidding me tough guy? Get a grip. Bring plenty of KY...A 27 year old hotty is just what your new neighbors are waiting for. Nice and tight.

The young Guy "Overreacted." Give me a break! 3 years is not enough! Hope he gets cute with the wrong wrong guy inside, gets beat down and time added to his term. I'm sure his folks are proud.(((Loser))))
