Similar scam in the 80s netted a young man in his 20s millions and millions - went to prison and now helps auditors track similar fraud. Just like the movie catch me if you can.

I guess he took them to the cleaners.
He'll be called on the carpet for this. But Marco lies like a rug.

thinking about it better . dont feel sorry for the man , because he didnt feel sorry for me. instead he felt as if getting rid of me was a great achievement since he laugh in my face as he escorted me out ..fuck him ..but i do feel sorry for his love ones who believe in him, such as his family. even though he was an asshole , he was a great father ... certain reason push us to break the law .. and during this period hes life was a total drama.. empire has more than one and sivio is one out of many that will never get caught unless they step on the wrong toes.. as he probably did.

I'm a former employee of Empire Today and that place drove me nuts! I thought Marco was one of the few good guys as he never gave me a hard time. I moved on after my car accident - actually back to my job I had BEFORE working at Empire. By the way, I recovered nicely after my February 2007 car wreck.

The way that place was run and how much money passed through the wrong hands I'm surprised they caught on, if he did it. The job was a learning experience in many ways, and at least I made a few friends in the works :-) Marco made the time pass a bit easier, and I wish he and his family the best...

Apparently he wasn't that great of a person if he was stealing from the company. He also lied about his mother being dead. She watches their children every week.=D I don't feel bad at all. He got what was coming to him, regardless of how we feel about the company, its still stealing and it is a CRIME!

Hey, desperate people do desperate things, I met him for a short time, his wife was suffering from pancreatic cancer and his health insurance was terminated, I'm not endorsing what he did, but he managed to keep her alive and today she's in remission.. shortly after his arrest the wife sent him divorce papers.. being thefirms accountant, he was planning to replace what he took, but he got caught first... his intention was to save his wife's life and repay what he took, it doesn't excuse the behavior, or the his fault, but when temptation presents itself, who doesn't fall? We're all sorry After we get caught!!

I think the poor office manager was stressed out, with his wife dying and all that. It was a desperate move to embezzle the money. But how did he plan to pay it back somehow as the firm's accountant, juggled the books and still leave short $90,000? He'll be going to jail but it really is a sad story all around.
