I had posted a comment on "The Murray Brook Frog: RE: Plans Made to Restore Vienna Town Cemeteries"

An account has been set up to accept donations to restore Otto’s grave and plans are being made to restore more of the abandoned cemeteries in our township as the funds are made available. Donations may be sent to the Town Clerk in the Town of Vienna; with your help we can make a difference.©

As to the above statement, I had an answer for that, but somehow it has been removed. As long as our Town Logo is being used on the site, I feel as a taxpayer, I can bring to light the laws that are being broken by the town. You can drive by my house and read what I have to say there. Or stop by and I'll fill you in with the half truths.
My reply was that the Town should have used the taxpayers money that they spent on the Christmas party they had at the Crazy Clam for this so-called fund that someone NOW wants to open up to restore these tombstones and cemeteries. Taxpayers money should NOT be used for Town officials to have a good time. If the Town can not support the Senior Citizen Center or the Little League of which a great number of the Town's youth play in, their annual Christmas party should have not taken place without inviting every taxpayer to it.

I agree with you Sir. I was not invited to the Christmas party, nor was anyone I know. Do you know if any of the people that are running in this up coming election went--Ron Turk or George Clark? If so, obviously they don't think it is a waste of our taxpayer's money for them to party on our tax dollars. I actually had a candidate come to my door this evening and ask for my vote. This is a first for me. I'm tired of seeing signs along the highway. I will vote for this person for that reason---this individual actually took time to come and see me. I look at it this way, if you don't have time for me now, you won't have time for me later.

There is a notice in this week's Queen Central News submitted by the current Town Clerk (Donna Clark)that the Codes Enforcement Officer's "NEW" office hours are from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. This means that Mr. Mosley is now working only 15 hours a week. Is he still getting his hefty salary ($37,500)? If so, I had better get on the good side of the next elected Supervisor in the hopes that "HE" will appoint me for the position. I hope Stevie Boy reads this post as I'm sure he will have an answer as to what Mr. Mosley does with the other 25 hours he should be available to the public. I'm awaiting.
Word has it that our illustrious Mr. Nathan Mosley (Codes Enforcement Officer)is now a part time worker for the Town of Vienna. It seems that he took a Civil Service test to become a Codes Enforcement Officer and FAILED the test. Ha Ha Mr. Mosley. Look at all the money that the taxpayers wasted on this buffoon to send him to school on our tax dollars. The Board and Supervisor had one of their "executive meetings"
to appoint him as part time so that some one that did PASS the test couldn't have the job. Shame on them! Did they think the public would not find out about this under handedness? Of course the Supervisor wanted to keep him as he is her husbands buddy. To me this means that being a part-timer, he should be being paid an hourly wage and should no longer be getting health insurance through the Town. Also, he should have to give up his Secretary who did his paper work for him. This should eliminate 2 big salaries for the taxpayers. Now knowing these facts, does this mean that all the permits that he supposedly issued since he was APPOINTED by Mrs. Baker and the Board Members are null and void? We have wasted a lot of money on this "turkey". Anyone have a comment?

§ 84. Legislative declaration. The legislature hereby finds that a
free society is maintained when government is responsive and responsible
to the public, and when the public is aware of governmental actions. The
more open a government is with its citizenry, the greater the
understanding and participation of the public in government.
As state and local government services increase and public problems
become more sophisticated and complex and therefore harder to solve, and
with the resultant increase in revenues and expenditures, it is
incumbent upon the state and its localities to extend public
accountability wherever and whenever feasible.
The people's right to know the process of governmental decision-making
and to review the documents and statistics leading to determinations is
basic to our society. Access to such information should not be thwarted
by shrouding it with the cloak of secrecy or confidentiality.
The legislature therefore declares that government is the public's
business and that the public, individually and collectively and
represented by a free press, should have access to the records of
government in accordance with the provisions of this article.

Minutes of meetings of all public bodies shall be available to the public in accordance with the provisions of the freedom of information law within two weeks from the date of such meeting except that minutes taken pursuant to subdivision two hereof shall be available to the public within one week from the date of the executive session. Donna Clark------Where are the Minutes for August? Are you too busy campaigning for your husband? Perhaps one of your assistants (your daughters) could put them on-line for you. This Sunday will make you 2 months late in putting them on-line.

Tomorrow is Primary Day. Please go to your local polling place and VOTE. Do not vote for your friends or neighbors, BUT for the individuals that you think are most qualified for the positions that are open. Remember, this is our town and we the people are the ones who elect these officials. See you there!
