Please pray for the family of Dr. Kevin Lawyer, father of 6 who was killed yesterday when his Chevy Denali collided with an UTZ truck. All 6 children 11yrs old and younger were in the vehicle with him. Two were taken by helicopter to Baltimore Pediatric Trauma and the other four were taken to Carroll Hospital Center. How hard it must be for his wife to have her children at two different places and can't be at both.
Dr. Lawyer was an Orthodontist here in Eldersburg.

This is so devastating to everyone in the community. Dr. Lawyer was a wonderful man who loved what he did. He was always so friendly and happy. Pray for that beautiful family. God will let them get through this horrible time.

The sad news of the sudden demise of a fellow orthodontist, at such a young age, is heartbreaking. I, along with my wife, Susan, and the members of the Maryland State Society of Orthodontists offer our sincerest condolences to Mrs. Lawyer and pray that their children speedily and fully recover from the injuries sustained during the accident. We pray for strength to be bestowed upon Dr. Lawyer's entire family, loved ones, and friends to bear this untimely burden. May God bless Dr. Lawyer's soul with peace and tranquility.

Dr. Lawyer's family and our community are going to miss a good father, a good husband, and a good man. This is such a sadness. Our prayers go out to him and his beautiful family, as well as the driver of the other vehicle.

Dr. Lawyer was a loving husband and father. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. As a fellow dentist, I knew Kevin as an energetic and compassionate orthodontist for his patients. He was a friend and colleague. We will miss him.

We are still in shock over losing Dr. Laywer. He gave to myself and my children a beautiful smile. Not just because of his talent as an orthondist but because he was such a beautiful person to to know. We will never forget him. Our thoughts and prayers to his wife, children and his orthodontic team.

Dr. Lawyer coached my daughter's basketball team last year. He was a great individual with a true love for the sport and the children involved. He was a shinning example of God's love in the world.

Please continue to pray for healing and that GOD would bring such blessings from the memorial service today. The family will need continued prayer to sustain them in the days and weeks to come.
May we all realize that driving a vehicle should not be taken for granted-lets all pay more atttention to the road-The family may never really know what happened.

Loss of a father, a husband, a colleague is a devistating phenomenon. No one could truly appreciate what his immediate family are going true. Pleae call them, contact them in any way you can and support them at this extremely rough time.

This is horrible! Dr.Lawyer has helped tons and tons of kids like me and now we can't help him! I wish we could do somthing for his wife, his six kids and friends. To think that appointment in the doctors office was the last time I would see Dr.Lawyer. I send all my prayers to him and his family.

Dr. Lawyer's contributions go far beyond his excellent expertise in his profession. He earned the gratitude of many children by committing his love to our children through his volunteerism and by sponsoring of youth activities. Think about it ….. this beautiful man had love to share with his family, with his associates and still a surplus to adorn upon the good people around him. He loved his own six children and your children too! How few of us do such things? The man’s heart was truly touched by God. Dr. Lawyer will truly be missed; he was one of the good guys in this world.

Kevin Lawyer has a place in God’s world, and I pray that he continues to inspire us all by his loving example.

Bless you Dr. Lawyer. Thank you for making our world a much better place.

I can't believe it's already been a month and then some. Keep praying...prayer is a powerful thing, I have no doubt in that. God has already sprouted buds from this tragedy, and flowers have yet to come.

I love you sweet Lawyer family!

Dr. Lawyer, however wonderful he may have been, was at fault for the accident. He crossed the center line and hit the Utz truck head-on.
