I would like to thank the school kids and Dr. Bourlier for their time and effort to make sure Chico will soon be returned to duty status.

I have noticed that many K-9 Units do not use their only partner to full capacity at all times which causes a problem like this. Had Chico been loose, he would have warned Officer Brownell of a person was near. If this requires the dog sitting in the front seat or ready to come out on leash at the same time the officer exits the car, that way if the officer is shot the dog can charge the shooter. In this case he may have been killed, or he may have ripped into the defendant, be that as it may. The dog is half the team he should be allowed to serve also.

Deputy Brownell, if he does not live at home, in the home with you, you only have 1/4 of a partner. He has to know your every word, how you say that word and know that when a good job is done, home or work, he gets he favorite toy. That would make Chico a full partner and a deputy you can always count on to do his 1/2 of the work.

I too would like to thank the kids and the doctors for helping with Chico. And as has been said that, "A dog is a man's best friend" and none of us would do less than to get our friend back on his paws and ready to go again.
The very best to Depty Brownell and Chico !!

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Gemini

It's a busy day and you've got quite enough to do without having to cope with people clamoring for your attention and likely to go into a huff if they don't get it. Is this person feeling neglected because you're busily occupied elsewhere or are there other reasons for their demanding mood? Simply giving them a big hug could make all the difference to their behavior.
