My thoughts and prayers are with the Trooper's families INCLUDING his fellow officers that were there at the scene with him.

It is yet again a sad display of ignorance by people who have NO RESPECT for THEMSELVES or ANYONE ELSE for that matter.

We put EVERYTHING on the line EVERYDAY and ignorant people still have no respect for what is done for them UNTIL they become "THE VICTIM."

Then they want you to be there to "get the bad guy for them."

This guy that went speeding through 2 counties put numerous people's lives at risk and if he had killed someone elses family member like Redneck's, then redneck would be looking for justice. Just remember your loved ones are with you Redneck, Trpr. Miller's loved ones lost theirs you UNGRATEFUL @SS!

Again, another Officer must die by the hands of a criminal. When are the people in this area going to relize we are not in the 1950's anymore. It is time to hire more police and purchase the equipment they need to help them do their jobs. WAKE UP NOW BEFORE THIS AREA GOES TO HELL !!!!!!!!!! TO LATE IT ALREADY HAS.

What a mess. First, the child, seeing his father be shot and killed, seeing his father shoot and kill a state cop, wounding another, he was probably so scared.
How I pray for that little boy. I feel bad for all involved. Why did they refer to the killer as an actor??? How terrible.

Funny how at these races they sell tons of beer to obviously drunk fans and then the cops set up DUI checkpoints so they can cash in on the fines.
Sounds good to me. No one is forcing anyone to buy the beer and/or to drink excessively. People need to be responsible for themselves and held accountable for their decisions. If they want to go to a race and get drunk, then drive home, they SHOULD be held responsible for it.

Thoughts and prayers to the family and troopers/officers involved.

And a speedy recovery for the body, mind and spirit of Trooper Lombardo who lost a brother.

<quoted text> I was a volunteer firefighter for several years; that is another job where you know the likelihood of being killed is VERY real. And volunteer firefighters don't even get paid to put their lives on the line. But if a firefighter (paid or volunteer) or police officer gets killed in the line of duty, does that mean it's not a reason to be sad? Most people go into police/firefighting work to help others, because they want to improve things in their communities. Granted, we're all entitled to our opinions, even though I vehemently disgree with yours - but I personally think that when someone who is trying to make this world a better place gets killed simply because the idiot who killed him chose to live outside the law, that IS an occasion for sadness. My thoughts and sympathies go out to the trooper and his family, also to his fellow officers. May he rest in peace.

This "father" of the boy loved him so much he had him experience this extreme trauma of watching his father and an innocent trooper get shot to death? It wasn't about the boy at all it appears.....only about him period. Dear Lord help this little boy and the trooper's family...

My prayers go out to Trooper Millers family and the PSP Family. We are living in an era where morals no longer seem to exist, however our elected officials choose to ignore that fact. In these times we need to be hiring more cops and training more cops, not cutting the forces. What is even more disgusting is the fact the great governor of this commonwealth is planning on not paying state employees including troopers from July on. It seems like every day we are hearing about cops getting killed. Something needs to change !
