The Federal Government taxes every gallon of gas you buy and that without it gas would be 18 cents per gallon cheaper. Most Americans are unaware of this statistic because of its unpopularity. On top of this, government regualtions and corporate subsidies also hinder energy exploration into fields of alternative fuel sources. This makes Americans rely on inflating gas prices.

The inflating price at the pump is apparent to any individual with a vehicle. What isn't so apparent is the legislation behind it forcing us into a corner with no alternative. With the upcoming election right around the corner, I challenge every citizen to analyze the candidate they support and truthfully reveal if they actually are fighting for your individual rights. The presidential candidate I support, among other things, reinforces abolishing the federal tax on gas. He also supports making tax credit available for alternative fuel technologies. He sustains abolishing highway motor fuel taxes and increasing mileage reimbursement rates. His name is Ron Paul, and he is fighting to preserve our individual rights rather than hinder them.

he comes off as an amusing campy, quirky little dude. sort of a spoiler that takes just enough of the vote to interfere with the big boys who really matter.

Gingrich! he is old school and knows how to catfish noodle a crooked system.

Ron Paul at least seems real, not so with Ginrich or Romney for that matter.

should be Romney or Gingrich. they have proved consistantly throughout they carry respectable percentages when there was a field of eight.

Sandorum and Paul are riding their coat tails. basically they are hoping one of the front runners gets a cold and cant make it to through the process. we dont need chat room lurkers as presidents.

Republican candidates Santorum and Gingrich have displayed logistical weakness through missing out on five state ballots. This forfeits 564 delegates out of 2286 that they cannot win.
A Washington Post/ NBC poll after the Florida contest revealed that Romney scored a 49% unfavorable rating to 31% favorable. This is a complete reversal from his September ratings of favorability. Also, only 23% of independent voters viewed him favorably; it was in the mid 40's a few months ago. What does all of this reveal? That the more voters get to know Romney, the less they appear to like him.
Just because a media feed (always endorsed therefore almost never unbiased) claims a candidate is the most "electable" doesn't mean it has any truth. If Santorum and Gingrich both are forfeiting delegates, and Romney is losing favorability everytime a person takes a closer look, is Ron Paul still an underdog?

I saw where gas will be a hundred dollars a drop by tomorrow night. Better get it now while it's cheap.
