It is a tragic loss. I will miss Sara too. Thoughts and prayers going out to Steve and all of their family and friends. Sara was a beautiful person inside and out.

I worked with Sara's mom for years and knew Sara as she was growing up. She and her parents had such a wonderful relationship. I wish I could take the pain away from her parents and husband. I pray for you all to have strength during this difficult time. Sara will always be with you. Look and you will see her.

To Mike from WI....you are an angel here on earth...to sit with Sara and pray for her... left me speechless Mike. Thank you.

Since Sara's accident, I have spent many long hours reflecting on who and what is most important to me.... My partner, my kids and grandkids, my other family and friends. Sara has given me a renewed look at myself and my actions... Thank you Sara for this gift. I hope many will be affected in the same way I have.

You blessed us Sara.

Hi Nora,

Actually I live in Surprise. My family and I moved here from West Bend, WI in 2008 but my profile displays 'Milwaukeeí(ÖI just have to figure out how to change it).

Iíve also spent a lot of time reflecting, evaluating. I was in the back seat less than a minute after the accident. It was very chaotic outside the car but not inside. It was very quiet, peaceful. Sara was in no pain. The only sound was her breathing. I tried to get her to talk. Whatís your name? Can you hear me? She didnít respond so I said let's pray. We prayed the Lordís Prayer. Iíve read all the comments here from family and friends and it makes sense to me now. Last week I thought I was there for her. I realize now that she was there for ME, comforting me at a time of tremendous helplessness and anxiety. I think she had that affect on people - seldom asking, always giving. I feel very sad at the loss of someone I never knew. At the same time I look forward to meeting her again in paradise because my Redeemer lives!

Sincerely,
Mike

My heartfelt condolences to all of Sara's extended family, coworkers, and friends.
Mike, that you are from Wisconsin and you were the one there for Sara is so ironic. But that you were able to get into the car, even if only for a few seconds, to be with her and pray with her, is truly amazing. She was my friend, as are her parents -- all such wonderful people and so close. This is truly a devastating loss. Mike, you ARE an angel. Thank you so much for having the calm presence of mind to show such kindness toward Sara.

Hi Mlike,

I want you to know how much I appreciate you, as well as any others that went to Sara's aid....You are no longer a stranger, yet a friend now and neighbor of ours. Thank you for your kindness and sincerity.... I'm very touched by your words...

How did this happen? Did anyone actually see it happen? I was there minutes after but we all know how the rumor mill works. I'm very sorry for the loss and my condolences to her family and friends. From the sounds of how Sara was, she would want us all to learn from this tragic accident, and with that being said I took both my teenage daughters to the accident site so they could see in real life that a car is not indestructable. Now they have all kinds of questions as to how this kind of thing happens. Im again very sorry for the loss, it sounds like she was absolutely wonderful and will be never be forgotten.

I think this is part of Sara's message. Cars are in fact not indestrubtable, but also life is too short, slow down. I think this is a great message for your kids. Hope they learn something from this awful tragedy.

I had the honor of knowing Dr. Sara for the past couple of years; we even enjoyed lunch only two weeks before the accident which makes this even more shocking. This saddens me deeply and my prayers go out to all of her family, friends and co-workers. Her smile will forever be remembered as well as her kind and gentle spirit. She was only here for a short time but had a great purpose. Sara will be missed greatly.

Does anyone know what happened to the person who got into a car accident on Greenway and Litchfield taking the entire signal light out?? I am woundering because we were in that intersection seconds before it happened?
