Does anyone know what happened in this car crash on Monday April 18 @ about 5:30-6:30pm? I witnessed the car smashing into the light pole causing the car to stop instantly. If the car wouldn't have stopped, I would have been decapitated as the car was heading right towards me. Can anyone tell me if the person was ok? I left my name and phone number with the Surprise Police.

My sister-in-law saw that accident as well and was concerned about the driver. She pulled over and approached the car with a few other bystandards, she said the driver was in BAD shape. Please post if you find anything out.

I drove through the aftermath at about 6:10pm. I didn't see what happened but I know it was BAD. When I drove by the doors were off and they were in the process of extricating. Things were so smashed up I couldn't even see how many people were in the car. The driver looked pretty banged up, not moving etc. The helicopter came in at about 6:15-6:20 and landed near Bullard south of Greenway. The were on the ground for a long time before they took off again. I would also like to know if they are okay. When I drove by again at about 8:00pm, the intersection was completely closed and they were still investigating.

From what I have been told she was to be taken off life support last night. She was a chiropractor who worked in Surprise. A beautiful girl with a beautiful spirit. Pray for her family and friends.

We are her coworkers and are wondering what you saw before impact. Was she driving fast down bullard? Did she seem distracted? We do know that she is not going to make it.

I'm so sorry to hear that she isn't going to make it. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
Does anyone have details on how the accident occurred? I live in the sub-division right on the corner of the accident and have been trying to find out more info on it since it happened. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find anything in the news at all.

I didn't witness the accident but was at the scene a few seconds after. Only the rear passenger door would open. I knelt in the back seat behind her, talked to her and prayed for a couple of minutes until policeman arrived and he asked me to step away. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,
Mike

My girlfriend and I are recent patients of Sara and were saddened by news of the accident. Sara's knowledge, energy, and willingness to help others was greatly appreciated. It didn't take long to realize that she was a special person who was passionate about her work in healing others. I am so sorry for your loss and our thoughts are with the family.

I'm one of Dr. Sara's co-workers... The loss we feel in our office is un- believeable. We're left with the shock first, the unanswered questions, the raw emotions that have taken over our hearts, and the tears of sadness... We, and all of Sara's patients, are devastated by this tragedy. Our prayers are with her husband and his family, her parents, and her extended family and friends. She'll be forever missed.

I am so sorry to hear about Sara. I just talked to one of the family members and I wish everyone would pray for her grieving family. It is such a weird thing that life is just taken that quickly. Sara's family might take some comfort in knowing how many people cared about her. Please keep posting your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.
