Teachers get a 4-5% raise, he gets a 30% raise. Seems reasonable. Once again this school board has shown total lack of reasoning.

Are you not selling enough houses these days? Or was your name on the ballot for school board and we all missed it? If you think you can solve all of the problems put your money where your mouth is and attend meetings. Voice your opinions, ideas or constructive criticism, otherwise crawl back under your rock and hibernate.

Riccio has been fired from every Superintendent job he has held. Norwalk school district had to settle a 2.5 million dollar discrimination lawsuit. Torrington school district fired him, but not before he lied and used his sick days to job hunt in California and Az. Eastside School district in Ca. fired him, yet his bio says he retired from there. If that was so, why was he looking in Nogales before Nadaburg picked him up. Also why did he sue the Eastside district for 100,000 dollars in pay if he retired. You can google all the above info. This guy's as crooked as the day is hot.

We haven’t achieved Nirvana yet,” grinned Riccio. “A lot depends on growth, but we actually grew 16 percent this year. We’re dealing with a budget that’s a challenge - and these are difficult times, but I’m impressed with the performance of our board; it is committed to holding us all accountable. I came out of retirement and was chosen to work here, and I’m very pleased.” Retirement,,,yeah right. What a joke, I hope Nadaburg can really afford this clown.

weel, once again the people who think they can run the school are popping off without having full facts. Are you one of the ones not doing their jobs? Or just like to think you know what you are talking about. The kids at Nadaburg have not been served well in the past and finally have people who care and have teh balls to stand up to what is right even if it pisses off old timers. I have to ask do you have kids or grandkids here, or are you just drawing a check till you can retire? My guess is the last.

The facts are that Riccio has been fired from every superintendent job he has held, he has had a 2.5 million dollar discrimination lawsuit filed against him and he himself filed a lawsuit against the the last school district he was fired from, the very school district he had supposedly retired from. He's a crooked politician who is self serving and needs to move on back to real estate. I don't see where he has ever done any good at any district not even this one. If he has done something good for the kids of this district what is it? Just curious Read the articles for yourself. http://www.zoominfo.com/people/Riccio_Greg_41...

Many people are upset by change and even more by accountablity. I believe that is what we are dealing with here.

Who did he bring to Nadaburg?

Implements Chinese language classes so he can go to China. The district isn't paying for the trip to China, but they sure did pay for the Chinese teacher. Accountability?

Change? What change? Exactly what has changed about the way Nadaburg does things on a daily basis.

I assume, from your message, that you must work in the district. If you do, you can see that change is starting to take place. People are going to be held accountable and those that don't measure up will be booted out. Are you concerned?

What a waste to bring chinese to the district. Another self serving idea. Maybe, just maybe he should concentrate on mastery of english. How long will this stupid waste of money last, a year? Two? I'd give anythign to see this clowns resume, surely a competent board would not have offered a job to a person who has as awful a track record as he has. I'm sure he didn't lie on his resume, who would do that for a job that only pays 120,000 plus dollars. Aw maybe it doesn't really matter, who cares, let the kids learn to count to ten in chinese, maybe if they'd used that chinese math our brand new ball field would have been built with correct distances between bases and the dugouts would be behind the fence not in the field itself, how many schools can't play home games at home because their ball field is wrong? I can see how chinese is a skill that will help our kids land a job after they drop out of high school. I can see how a trip to China helps our district, and not further pad the resume of someone who has a degree in comparative international education.

Chinese? well, still that's better than teaching the little nitwits to talk Mexican, it's not like Nadaburg is a real School anyway. J.W.

Have you kept up with the world news? China will take us over. What is wrong with giving our kids a variety of opportunities? I have to agree with effected, sounds like you are one of the employees who are incompetent and in fear of your job. And as far as Chinese in San Ramon, Riccio was't even here for the field, so how is that his fault? What I hear as soon as this was discovered, it was taken care of.
What are you all scared of, you'll lose your jobs because you are so far behind in the world and the kids of Nadaburg will FINALLY get a good education, taught by competent people.
Get with the program or get out and go to a school who is willing to "just slide by"

You have only showed me some ups and downs with boards. Is that new? Have not heard a thing this guy has done wrong since arriving. Anything? Agree with the rest of you. Sounds like people are being held accountable to me. Don't think that is a bad thing for a boss to do or am I missing something?

I believe what you may have missed is the fact That a person has to " DO " something before he can do something wrong. J. W. Simms.
