The illegal drug use, especially heroine is out of control and unchecked in Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas. Syringes are sold through drive thru's. Most citizens and cops don't care. The addicts can't get jobs or aren't getting tips thus the males must steal to fund their problem.
|
||||
And your source for the drive thru comes from where?Also where is your fact on cops or citizens coming from.Oh! I know!It's coming from URANUS.If,you knew half of what your saying is true,you would still be an idiot.If you have proof,turn it over to the authorities,But i bet you are just spouting. |
||||
Authorities know but look the other way, they have more important things to worry about, also their families and council members are unaffected by the unchecked local drug trade/use therefore it's not a priority. Have you ever been to Chapin Park? Or taken a walk down Yaupon drive at night? Didn't think so.... |

Myrtle Beach, if they were smart,(they are not) would postpone any ordinances until after the economy recovers. If you lose 300k to 500k tourists you will close many more businesses. The unemployment rate is high enough now you want to turn businesses away. The whole bike week situation could be handled differently.
Go to the vendors and businesses who support the rally and tell them to ask the bikers to respect the town and its citizens by not littering and making a ton of noise in our residential areas. Put up DUI check points on 17 business and by pass and bust the idiots drinking and driving and the problems will be solved. It is all about the dollars: There is no way to recoup the money lost if the bikers go else where. All of the tax revenue generated by the extra pennies per dollar will not be there so they will raise everyones taxes. Bring in more police and let them do their job. Make littering a 250.00 fine. If you are in a residential area after 9pm and you rev your bike like an asshole 250.00 fine. If you are driving drunk 5 nights in jail and a 1000 fine. Take a taxi it will be cheaper. IT is all common sense. Most of the bikers will respect the laws. Give them plenty of places to discard their trash. If they want to rev their bikes up and down the blvd or 17 business let them. If there are still a ton of accidents make them wear helmets, we have to wear a seat belt so why not. |

As for crime on the beach. The worse the economy gets the worse crime will be. It is not the bikers breaking into homes or cars. It is punks who need to be shot when they break into your house. Buy a gun and kill them. They will never do it again. You have the right to protect yourself and your family. As mentioned above get an alarm system on your house. Keep your yard lit, talk to you neighbors watch out for each other, be diligent in protecting yourself.

1 Darwinian Reality for real, you must be a very short and uneducated man. Do you realize that the majority of the people who own and ride these "bikes" make more money in a week than you will in 10 years. The women who ride on the back, or their own bikes are intelligent, respectable, family oriented people who have enjoy riding. If you don't like "bikes" then I don't see anyone holding a gun to your head and making you ride. Most of us would not like your 66 Ford Falcon but we don't make fun of you when you're pushing it down the side of the road. |

1 Oh shut up you dumb azz, the problem with Myrtle Beach is the low life criminals (residents) you have living in that sewer hole. I know some bikers, and they are clean cut and respectable people. Not some gutter slime such as yourself. Its fools like YOU that give MB a bad name. |
