quit charter cable tv

I was a loyal customer with Charter TV for many years.(1997)
About 8 months ago when they increased my monthly bill
once again, I went to their office and told them they were
taking advantage of a good customer. They said they couldn’t
do anything about my cable tv charges increase.
That day I had two people in line ahead of me returning their
The next day, I took my unit and remote and terminated
my Charter Communications cable tv service and once again,
there were two people in line returning theirs.
Just think how many are turning in their equipment if within about
a total of ten minutes, five people, including myself , quit Charter.
I get all kinds of shows online, plus I got Netflix.
I installed an antenna in my attic and get 22 clear, sharp tv stations:
ABC…CBS…NBC..Fox..PBS and lots of others.
The antenna was less than $100.00 dollars and is simple to install.
Charter called, sent numerous letters trying to get me to
come back and even sent a Charter representative to my home.
I told them when I took my equipment back that I’d
never use their services again. TV…phone…or internet.
Today I figured my savings and it’s over $1,000.00.
Picture counting out ten $100.00 bills; that’s real money I still
have that Charter doesn‘t.
They can keep their overpriced cable tv.
The antenna is a one time cost and Netflix is about $8.00 per month.
I’m completely satisfied with Charter's replacement.
If you’re smart, you’ll get rid of them too.
