I dont believe Jermaine Mclymont knew the car was involved in a vehicular homicide. He could not unless told and who would tell. I hate to say it but this is BSO's racism rising to the fore once more. Had the bodyshop owners son been white, he would NOT have been arrested on what is so blatantly a vicious persecution.

I'm glad that this guy was caught. Hopefully this will give the family some closure. Also, based on this article, I don't think the son should have been arrested.

Thank god he got arrested. For once something ended with someone in jail for the crime!

I am glad they caught the guy who killed that poor innocent child. If it means that this guy (Jermaine) is wrongly accused, so be it. He is out of jail and will have a chance to prove his innocence. Instead of worrying about this guy being falsely accused (which of course does happen and is wrong), people should be happy that this blatant, reckless murderer (Sanford) is off the street. Of course McLymont is not accused of killing the little girl, but McLymont will have his day in court, let's hear from the 4 yr. old who was hit. Ooop's I forgot, she is dead!!

This POS was arrested by SUNRISE P.D. His own father called him in. I hate to say it but you sound like an idiot making accusations like "BSO's racism rising to the fore once more. Had the bodyshop owners son been white, he would NOT have been arrested on what is so blatantly a vicious persecution.[/QUOTE]" You are a prejudiced bigot. Even Al and Jessie would think your comments are stupid!

A difficult call as to the body shop worker's involvement. I would think the police had evidence supporting the arrest.
The father did the right thing.

Stavsig?...It would be pretty hard NOT to know that a "Silver Dodge Magnumm, driven by a Black man with dreadlocks was being sought by POLICE for a fatal Hit & Run"...It was on ALL the radio stations...in all the news papers...and on the internet!...How many "Leditimate" body men begin a job after 9pm on a Friday night?

As far as the father turning in the son?...lol...IF the OWNER of MACKs towing is still "Old Man Macelyay"?...there would have been 3 MORE dead if HE found out first!

Wake up, stupid. A silver Dodge Magnum is all over TV news, radio, newspapers and internet for it's involvement in a deadly hit and run. Then a man who fits the description of the driver shows up to your body shop in a siver Dodge Magnum with front end damage. Hhmm! Are you really that dumb or do you hate white people that much that you are willing to ignore that this guy had to know something. As for the race card you recklessly pulled; you can roll it up and shove it up your ass!!

I disagree, strongly!!! I never watch the news, listen only to satellite radio, but read the online news during the work week, not on weekends. I had NO idea any car was beeing sought in connection with a vehicular homicide. What makes you think everybody knows ALL local news?

If Jermaine McLymont knew the car was used in a crime, and tried to help hide evidence by repairing the car, he should be arrested. If he wasn't told, and didn't know (which is possible), then he shouldn't be held. I guess it boils down to what did Jermaine McLymont know.

It's pretty clear that the driver of the car has been arrested and will be prosecuted-as he should be.The evidence on the son who was repairing the car is still out. No one on this forum has anything other than speculation to offer. PS-when I was 18 my buddies worked on their cars at shops at 9 pm all the time; This week I was at a shop at 5am, and the owner had been there all night-it happens.

doesn't Sanford looks like Rick Williams?

Yesterday when I read the story I thought that Sanford was just as much to blame as the guy who drove the car. Today's article states that Sanford didn't know it was involved in a hit and run. He has a point very few people will admit to a crime like that. McLymont probably told him that he ran into a wall or something. Anyway, the attorneys will send out investigators and the truth will come out eventually about Sanford's part in all this. I hope he really didn't know. I hope that the little girl's mother can find peace in knowing that her daughter is in heaven and well taken care of.
