Back in the early 60's we had the "hard boys" and the "Frats". The frats ran around in tennis shoes with colored stripes up the heels. The Hard boys all wore Flagg's with the pointed toes with the machine stitching around the toe. They were nice looking shoes because of the stitching. In Sacto, one store was downton on J st ( near Franks novelty store) and the other was out in the Southgate Plaza on Florin road. I would love a pair of those Flaggs now.
