I believe dad was possibly having an affair with a D. Trammel , maiden name, woman but no way would he do his daughter any harm. So you are wrong.

Detectives need to go to Florida and pick up Benny J. and question him about the dock he always sat on at the pnd at Mary Gray Bird Sanctuary...he bragged "they will never find her" She IS in that pond; what's left of her and they have been told by inmates who were jailed with Benny but they didn't believe them then and they searched the pond but it had been raining for days and the pond was murky. She IS in there and he even bragged he tied her down with blocks. I don't care if it's bs or not; I just don't see that many people lying about the exact same details given by the exact same person--THE KILLER. I also knew Denise and Jenny and this is horrible and it needs resolved and justice needs brought down HARD!

Did he say she was there or just that they would never find her? Did he say anything else about how or why she was killed?

And where in Florida? Where is the Johnson farm (or former Johnson farm if it isn't in the family any more)?

Depends on which farm you are talking about? The original one was on Alquina Road (Fayette County)---like you heading to the beach off of Vine Street in Connersville. Also, the original Ben (Grandfather I think) owned National Metal Factory and then of course it was sold off to what we know as Keeners over on 9th Street and Fayette.

Florida, I was told in the Clearwater area..

Her father, my great uncle, still deals with her tragedy daily. How dare you even suggest something like this. Obviously you know nothing of the family. Sad to see the ignorance of some people.

I grew up with Denise. She was a farm girl from Everton and very athletic. She was a few years younger than me. I saw her the night before she disappeared at a party. I did not stay long and my date and I left around 8PM, if I remember correctly. I just can't fathom a man trying to wrestle her from a car. She would have put up a good fight. And to have no traces of footprints or other evidence from the car is baffling. I don't think she did drugs either so I don't understand why anyone would want to kill her. I moved to NC in 1989 and remember seeing her picture on a missing persons notice at the Durham airport. That was freaky. So sad for the parents having to deal with this loss and not knowing what happened for so long.
where was the party? and where was her house?they say it was 4miles from her house to tower road.no way.been on that road 4times this week.

I heard the same thing. He is still a womanizer. I also heard that she is under the driveway that was put in at that time.

I was 14 when this happened I remember it was big talk in rushville ... I've been on tower road many times and never seen any traffic so they knew it was a good place to dump the car

Where are the locations from this post? I don't find a Tower road by Glenwood, IN on Google maps. Does it go by something else? Angeles / Johnson farms? Tullis cemetery? Can't find any of these locations being mentioned.

I believe that 650W is the tower road they are referring.

Thanks, that is about the location I was thinking from the reports I read, but it looks like a busier through road than I was thinking. I was picturing a dead end gravel access road. I knew there were some transmission towers south of 44 and figured that is where the name came from. I was only 10 or so when this happened, but I definitely remember Connersville being quite a bit more dicey than it is today and having a lot more youth. I'm amazed that nothing at all has developed from this case, and I'd think the only logical place to start would be near where that car was abandoned. It's plausible a crime happened elsewhere and the car was dumped there, but that would indicate multiple individuals involved, and the location of the car was probably not well premeditated, so I'd guess something went down in that area. The Johnson or Angeles farms weren't in that area were they?
