Wow took our kids down Saturday night to see the fireworks, and was surprised to see more for children to do, and enjoy. Fireworks were great, and the music was awesome. Didn't seem to be a drunk Fest like past years. I want to thank the town for doing it right this year.

That's funny. Which organizer wrote this? Heard they only had 3 chicken fryers this year and not many idol contestants as in years past. Also heard the attendance was much lower than years past. I think this is because of the people that are now running the show. What a joke.

It wasn't bad. A few changes need to be made, have the food prepared outside of the beer gardens so the kids eating don't have to be around all the drunks. It was so damn hot under that tent with the chicken fryers that it was miserable. The beer gardens were so congested with all the drunks.

Same race winners every year!!!!. Why enter the contest? I was very disappointed with the entire event. The only exeption was the fireworks.
I will not be back and can watch the fireworks at home. Listen, chicken fryers around here like BEER! Deal with it!
Another thing I did not appreciate was the the fryers on Friday night had to give 15% of their $$$ back to the planners.
Many people just brought their own beer anyway. Walked around all night with beer. Cheaper too!
Just turn the event over to Melinda and "Staying alive" people. Would be a great kids event.

Really.... People are supposed to take you serious. Your first comment is same winners every year win the canoe race. it's a frekin competition, the best ones win. But a loser like yourself would not understand that. These people work there butts off for free to put together an event for the community and you are crying about contributing 15% of your proceeds that go back to the community. And of corse you seem to be more concerned with you beer, but screw everyone else. You are a sorry piece of Cr@?$

Whiney ass bastards ya'll are. And to think it started out as a nice, positive discussion. What a shock. It ain't anymore.
