Really wish I had read these reviews before we spent 5500.00 with this company!!! I have been waiting 4 weeks for furniture to arrive... when I was initially told it would be here in 10-14 days by the sales person.. manager said he should have never told us that and really didn't believe me!! It is a nightmare to deal with them! Very unhappy!

Tried to buy a desk from these guys - salesman quoted me $5,500 - I questioned him on the price for the desk since it seemed too high - he was rude and nasty until the owner stepped in and reduced the price to $2500 - I bought it - but the salesman would have ripped me off 3k if I bought it at his price - what a jerk -!! Never again !!

spent 1200 on a bedroom set, and it lasted 5 months and they cant replace it because its " no longer in stock" I spent to much money on crappy furniture!

Got a recliner from them in November the chair as to small so I got another recline I paid more money got it home and unboxed it there was cuts in the leather took it back they told me I could have the one on the floor and there would be a warranty with it paid more money almost 900.00 into this new so called recliner before taking it off our truck there was cuts in the back of the recliner again in the leather they told me. I asked for all my money back they told me I had to keep this recliner they would send a repair man out he showed up a week before Christmas told us he would order a new back our repair this one never heard a thing from them till I seen they was going out of business sale called the new person told me she bought out the men and she would not warranty anything that wasn't bought buy her but she did agree to pay HALF of the repair bill needless to say there is NO WARRANTY with anything from them if you buy it off there floor so be careful you will be lied too and sold things that are damaged and not no it till it is in your home and set up to look closer at it. NEXT time I will go back to Baer's furniture I will Never shop at any other company for my furniture at least they don't lie to you the price I paid them I could have got a lazy boy chair Fabulous furniture really really sucks and that's putting it very nicely. NOTHING bought off there floor is NOT warrantied its a floor model. shop at your own risk, maybe this is why the company is going out of business .

ya they suck not a good company to do business with and you wont get your money back

Ordered a recliner from them it came in with cuts in the leather they told me I could get one off the floor and there would. Be a warrnety but that was a lie got it home before we took it off the truck and the back had cuts on the leather at this point I was pissed so I called and ask for my money back they told me NO they would have a repair man come out to repair my chair he came right before Christmas never heard a word so I called them cause I seen where they was going out of business and the new lady that bought the guys out told me she wouldn't warrnety there items after I talk to her she told me she would pay half after putting over 800.00 in this chair and lied too never again will I ever buy from a company like this again I will go back to bares furniture I could have bought a lazy boy for what I paid for this price of shit there is no warranty on floor items please be careful they lie to get u to buy things and they are damaged please beware!!!!

Just tried to use the warranty that I paid an extra $100 for and the warranty company says we were never registered with them. Now the company is out of business and I am screwed. They basically stole the $100 from me.

BUYER BEWARE:
Fantastic Furniture on US 41 in Fort Myers is NOT fantastic. IF you like being strung along for 4 weeks, lied to repeatedly over those 4 weeks ...
AND they forget stuff you paid for EVERY TIME they finally deliver part of your order ...
IF you like your NEW furniture to be left in the back of a rental truck while rain is pouring in on it while the driver looks on from the safety of a porch and his helper stands in the back of the truck shrugging ... then the driver insist that "the plastic on the mattresses being rained on is double, so they should be fine .. and don't worry it's not yours anyhow ..."
... THEN when calling the store to speak with the manager or owner to let them know what's going on ... being aggravated that again, your order is messed up, product is delivered that is messed up and someone else's order is being rained on ... get HUNG UP on by the owner, when calling back, get screamed at and told how he doesn't need my little $2500 order that he has 3 stores locally and 15 or so stores up north ... that he "doesn't have to listen to me bitch because he's not my husband" .. that "his dad and brother were both in the Navy" (like what does THAT have to do with shitty service and my order?!)... HUNG UP ON AGAIN ... call back AGAIN to see what the resolution is to only be called a "F*cking B*tch" and hung up on AGAIN. Now mind you, the delivery guys are still here ... they are now apologizing ... too late.
I called back AGAIN to see what the resolution was ... meaning, according to the owner he's "taking it all back" ...(Which he has no rights to is as it is financed, and I my finance company has paper work that has to be completed prior to the furniture being released back to him)... I speak with the Warehouse manager this time who allegedly has NO idea what's going on and ADMITS he created most of the issues by making promises to deliver the furniture not once, not twice but THREE times and NEVER called once any of those times to let me know it wasn't actually going to happen.
Now I sit here, pissed, disrespected, shaking and wondering what happened ... I have two new box springs (one which is messed up) and no mattress and no mattress pad (which was left at the store since they don;t read the delivery ticket before leaving for delivery)... the delivery guys took off to delivery the wet mattresses in their truck and said they would be back later to possibly deliver our mattress ...or possibly take all the stuff back.
I just got off the phone with the finance company ... they have no problem releasing me but need to escalate the case to retail services so they can see WHY Fantastic Furniture has decided that their behavior and attitudes up to this point are satisfactory. When asked what I expected from the resolution I could not answer ... being in an emotional state is NOT the time to make a decision. But I did tell her that honestly, I don't think I even want the any of it now .... that respect means more to me that material goods and they have made this experience SO painful, SO negative that I can't imagine trying to sleep on a bed of contention.

UPDATE: My fiance went into the store today to pick up our mattress and the mattress cover they refused to deliver yesterday ... He was met with silence from most employees and most were avoiding eye contact. The Owner, Michael, who was the one yelling and cursing at me over the phone and hanging up on me yesterday greeted him ... extremely apologetic. He had JUST gotten back into town ... he had not been made aware of the past 4 weeks hassles and issues, and couldn't understand why I was so upset ... Not that it makes anything right, but after getting a call from the finance company and hearing my side of the story from them, investigating the story he was beyond embarrassed about not only his own behavior but that of his employees. My fiance told him he was not the one deserving an apology that I was, to feel free and call me direct and gave him my number. Michael threw in some new gel pillows and a bedding set for good measure.
This evening I receive a call from him. He expressed his sincerest apologies and also explained where things went wrong. I thanked him and appreciated the call and his attitude and conversation he had with my fiance. He said he had ordered a new box spring and the comforter set and would be delivering them out to us and swapping out the bad one.
It was nice to receive the call... it was nice to know that he did take time to see what happened and express his sincerity for his behavior. Will I shop there again? Not likely. Will I refer anyone there? Perhaps if I see, or hear, of a major cleansing of the bad nuts in the bunch, maybe I would refer someone. Until then, I reserve my opinion.
I felt it was important to follow up on this with some Good news about it all ... to say that Michael, the owner of Fantastic Furniture, stood up today and accepted responsibility for his behavior and that of his employees ... I always say out of this situation only good will come ... and today, it again proved to be correct.

Simple furniture shopping turns into a nightmare at this place Fantastic Furniture on Cleaveland Ave Ft Myers, Fl. My husband and I have spent a few days shopping for our master bedroom set. Something that should have been very simple. But not at this place. Not only did one of the owners Mike sell us the floor model and never said anything to us we just happened to go back to the store because during delivery we had an issue with the new mattress the whole one side had a runner that will continue to tear apart and rip open and that will VOID any type of warranty on that mattress. They told us to keep the mattress and they would order us a new one and just do the exchange ........Well that was back on September 19th and we are still waiting it's one excuse after another. They have never called us to keep us posted I have been calling them to find out the status. Very poor customer service and lack of communication on their part. I have spoken to both owners Mike and Luis neither has done nothing but lie to me. Please if your looking for furniture stay away from this place. Trust me we learned the hard way. Something so simple has become my worst nightmare. The best thing that could happen for me is to return the entire order. So if your snowbirds looking for furniture ......... look the other way. As of today, 10/21/15 still fighting a battle with them.

1/1/16.........AND STILL WAITING FOR THE NIGJT STAND AND THE MATTRESS TO BE EXCHANGED. I have not received a call from anyone keeping me posted on what's going on. Please stay away from this place. It's not worth it trust me

Wrong. The 3 day law only applies to when the sale is made in your home.
