Touching prohibited by law at all Fort Myers/Lee County strip clubs.

People know of strip clubs as places of adult entertainment, usually where women strip down to nothing. And at most strip clubs, where to touch and if it is okay to touch/fondle is left to the decision of the individual stripper. Unfortunately, that is not the case in Fort Myers/Lee County. Lee County in fact has a law that strictly prohibits and forbids any kind of touching at all strip clubs within the county. Neither on stage nor dlap dances. It is very much literally a "keep all hands to self" law, and it goes for all strip clubs, including but not limited to places like Escapades, Lookers, and Fantasy's at the Beach. To make matters worse, the police can and will even close down all strip clubs found to have allowed touching, and club staff are under order by the police to kick out anyone they see touching a stripper at all. This is extremely serious and is absolutely nothing to play or joke around with!

Lee County/Fort Myers strip clubs are made for show only. Do not ask for, or even fall for, a lap dance with any stripper at any Lee County strip club. You will be wasting your money, and as touching is a strict no-no, you will not have a good time at all! If you want more normal/fun lap dances, go to a strip club in a much more lenient region, like Key West for instance. If any stripper in a Lee County strip club asks you if you'd like a lap dance, calmly tell her "No thanks" and the reason why not (touching the stripper is prohibited by Lee County law). And if you feel the urge to leave the club, you go right ahead and leave. And if you choose not to return to that club anymore, that is perfectly fine, too. All entertainment/nightlife venues governed by rules/laws that spoil your fun shall be destined to lose all of their business and close down.

I'm glad to hear a very informative blog about this situation because I was thinking about dancing in Fort Myers but if that's the case I won't even waste my time. I mean how do they expect the girls to make any money like that. I guess they're trying to clean up their city by making tough laws on strip clubs, but the fact of the matter is the Thugs, hoodlums,rapist and whatever criminals is still on the street causing havoc so they need to really get on they job.That's how it is in Orlando so the girls make no money. It's sad that when people try to make money in a legal way they turn it into something illegal, and where does that leave people to do more desperate things for money and its really sad.

Ok, I don't go to strip clubs every weekend, I would say 4 or 5 times a year. And even thou I don't like paying cover charges, I HAVE ALWAYS HAD A blast At any Ft. Myers Strip club. Now I don't go to these clubs looking to get laid, but I have never been exposed to the "keep all hands to self" law! Most of the time I get touched far more than my touching the girls! There are four in Lee County, I place them in order of fun,and not getting into fights, 1-Fantasy's at the Beach,no cover no fights,little dirty, 2-Escapades,cover fun girls could be fighting,clean,3-Lookers, cover,girls lack alot never seen a fight,clean,4-Babes,cover,fun girls,dirty,you can get into a fight before you make it to the door!

Think it's bad in Lee County? The state of Ohio has laws requiring strippers to keep a distance of no less than 6 FEET away from their customers! And in Illinois, including Chicago, strippers gotta stay no less than 15 feet away from their customers. To make matters worse, in Illinois, a male customer touching a stripper, even during a "lap dance" oh, pardon me, more like an air dance, would face up to 75 years in prison for sexual assault/sexual battery, and would also even be required to register as a sex offender every 4 weeks for the rest of his life! He would also be forbidden to leave Illinois. And in fact, male customers from outside of Illinois who touch a stripper, I even heard, would face automatic life without possibility of parole, and would serve his sentence in an Illinois prison only.

To make matters worse, I have just read in a review that Escapades was raided by the Fort Myers Police Department recently. 7 strippers were arrested and imprisoned in the Lee County Jail for touching their customers. Escapades was shut down. Similar raids were then conducted on Lookers, Babes, and Fantasy's at the Beach. And as if that were also not bad enough, the law is now 8 feet minimum between dancers and customers at all Lee County strip clubs.

It has just gotten worse. Recently, the Fort Myers Police department and the Lee County Sheriff raided Escapades and arrested 7 strippers for touching/grinding on their customers. All 7 were thrown right into the Lee County Jail without questioning. The police even shut down Escapades, too. And even raided Lookers, Babes, and Fantasy's at the Beach. As if even that wasn't bad enough, the law is now 8 feet minimum between dancers and customers at all Lee County strip clubs. Yes, that is correct, guys, 8 feet. That means, those of you who enjoy touching your dancers and having your dancers grind themselves on you will need to go to a strip club in another city/county.

Actually I danced in Illinois, south subs, and there are classy places you can get hour or half hour full friction, totally nude totally private. You gotta pay to play types. She is probably talking about Atlantis Gentlemen's club in Ford Heights, Illinois. But what a shame Atlantis sits in a death trap neighborhood. Ford Heights, Illinois and the whole surrounding area is nonstop shootings, robberies, homicides, assaults, gang fights. Every day in Ford Heights, motorists get shot at driving down Lincoln Highway, cars parked in the parking lot for Atlantis get shot up, vandalized, burglarized, people going in and coming out are attacked, beaten, robbed, shot, and left for dead. Scarletts was just raided again this past thursday (7/7/2011) and the fort myers police dept gave citations to dancers who failed to wear titty tape or had skimpy thong bottoms. The cops hauled away a dancer to the paddy wagon as well. This club has gone downhill ever since they allow drug infested dancers like the dancer who goes by the stage name Nikki to stink up the joint. Cant help but think she got less time off from her stay in jail in exchange for ratting out the club.

Not only is there no more police department in Ford Heights; the Mayor of Ford Heights is in jail for drug trafficking, plus the Mayor of Ford Heights is a suspected perpetrator of 9/11 and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing!
