Let’s see if it can be made easier for us all to understand. The Sheds I was referring to, are the ones rotting to the ground where hulls of what should have been a house are. One of the major complaints from the two divisions is that HOA fees were being paid and no one knew where the monies were going. Solution- Stop paying the HOA's and has the association dissolved. Enjoy your piece of land but take pride in preserving the desert as much as possible. Living out here is a way of life, if bright lights and boulevards is your thing there are countless homes at good prices in the nearby cities. You'll find homes that are lavishly landscaped with plants and trees from another region, where you can go and sneeze while enjoying them. While that stupid reminder in my head clicks that the only constant is change, too much, too fast is resulting in too many empty homes that are being scoured by transients. I can not explain in a nice way what law enforcement officials find men doing in these houses and cars off in the desert, while these men are on a meth trip. It isn't something that makes for good reading in the local papers over breakfast. The APS Transmission Lines (which this thread is about) apparently are not going to be a concern until suddenly they appear built in your front yard! Hauling voltage to power Peoria and North Phoenix, the lines are going to be emitting reflective energy that will light a florescent bulb by simply holding it in your hands. Forget about what is being absorbed by your body. It is then your HOA will wonder why someone didn't inform them this was about to happen. If someone doesn’t disagree with me, then I haven't said anything worthwhile, it is discussion that I am trying to facilitate. To disagree is an important part of a forum.

1 "Peakview, Patton Place, those niches along the road where major developments fell through all have a victim attached to a scheme that lured them out west in hopes of that elusive pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. The problem is that it is pretty obvious they got caught up in a whirlwind of fast talkers and hard-hitting sales tactics. Thus rattlesnake refuges and a place for a meth-head to hide out while getting a fix, these unsightly sheds strip the desert setting that most people moved here to enjoy. Some people got involved in the HOA line dance. HOA's are not a good mix where burrows and javelinas should still roam. People moved here expecting to be a regular of the golf and country club, but instead got paired up with some real honky tonking, hell-raising nomads on ATV's, horses & sand-buggies. All the while paying in to an HOA that so far many of you have not seen any returns from. Mark it up to better judgment next time, or as to serving as an example to others of what can happen. Quit paying your HOA dues get your neighbors together and take a vote to abolish the association. Return as much of your land back to the desert, so as to keep it preserved for the wildlife and plant life found here. Then start developing good karma by not passing your mistakes on to others to have to deal with. As far as what goes on at a construction site, and if you plan to live in the structure being built? Enjoy the cosmetic finishing’s and don't think about what's behind the sheet-rock" Nothing in that about APS and the transmission lines. |

The thread got miss-directed way back down the line, I was trying to bring it back to what the news report was actually bringing attention to, however there is also a thread "RJ SPRINGER" which began nearly 2 to 3 years ago and hundreds of attempts with the county, the ROC and BBB, didn't net any benefits. When I clicked on this thread, the discussion level was that of the RJ Springer thread months ago. Thus was my response. I'll admit that what was posted would have been better off on the "RJ SPRINGER" thread however I sent it to this one. By following what was being said, it registered with me that I was on the other thread; no one was talking about transmission lines it was about Peakview and Patton Place. However seeing how far gone the thread had been high-jacked, perhaps it was good that it happened. If we can redirect it to the transmission line then the subject about the Patton Place and Peak View additions can go back to the thread where the discussion about them originated "RJ SPRINGER". I have serious doubts that will happen but there is always hope.

1 This thread began so that residents can be made aware of the consideration APS has to place a high voltage transmission line that may affect people in the Wittmann, Circle City, Morristown Wickenburg and areas beyond those boundaries. It is very easy to stray from the topic, so expect some people to continue to ignor the topic opening this thread. They are beyond help. Meanwhile if your thoughts are about how upset/or not, you are over a transmission tower, an iron structure setting in your yard, with heavy medal cables hovering over the top of your property, emiting radiation, PCP's or other associated concerns. This is where we need interactive participation, discussing High Voltage Transmission Lines. |

1 Well now, here it is August already and I've had my new big screen TV about 3 weeks now. I received my check from A.P.S.a little while back, to the tune of $4,249.50 and went shopping for that special Mitsubishi 60''er, thank you all very much it is great!!! oh by the way have you heard A.P.S. is going to raise the electric rates to compensate for the loss, oh well with the left over money from the TV I bought a 6500 cfm master cool evaporative cooler for my house, to lower my electric bill when the A C isn't a must, thanks again and have a good day.
