Uproar turns straight bar into gay hot spot

On a recent Saturday night at the Scottsdale club Forbidden, well-dressed, sweaty men are three-deep at the bar and fill the red, glittery dance floor.

Reading the comments on the azcentral website makes me a bit sick to my stomach, however. I swear, if I read another "...but I have gay friends" comment I'm going to go postal!

It's about time some of us do go postal. We're never going to change the status-quo unless some of us decide to act-up. I know this is a bit off topic but these homophobes need to learn some respect and the only respect they'll understand is with a fist in their face. Trust me though - this approach works. The last thing a homophobe wants to have happen is for a gay guy to kick their ass. Even the slightest remote possibility of that happening is too much for them to cope with.

Is it your opinion, that Gay sexual behavior is not disgusting in nature. It its not you do indeed have a strong stomach !

Don't you have to worry about some of the less sophisicated people there. I know when I went to Fayetteville, NC I was extremely nervous there.

It gets on my nerves too. So what if you have "gay friends", I have a ton of "straight friends" and there is nothing implied or meant by it. It is seriously like their way to make themselves appear open minded.

Why do you start imagining how other people are having sex? When I see straight couples I don't then begin to imagine how they have sex with each other, so why do you do that with gay couples? That seems to be a sickness on YOUR part, not the gay people. I find straight sex to be rather disgusting, but I don't normally picture it or even think about it, so I go through my day surrounded by straight people and don't feel disgusted by them. Why aren't you able to do the same?
