Pondering grave issue

Sumter County officials have plans to remove and relocate graves from what is likely a historic black cemetery in Lake Panasoffkee that could date back to before the Second Seminole War.

The County Commissioners did the right thing in leaving the cemetery alone. The people who are buried in the Panasoffkee Cemetery have the right to remain they are. It's commendable to know the Sumter County Commissioners do have a heart and a conscience.
