Disability Board Director Accused of Sex Abuse of Disabled Man

Police say the director of a disabilities and special needs board in Sumter has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a disabled man.

Maybe the Disability Boards need to consider having special certifications for employees...a thorough back ground check every so often and an EAP(Employee Assistance Program) for employees that's mandated at least once a month.

They do background checks and this why background checks are not a cure all.
The issue I have with this story like I have many such stories like this is what if the guy did nothing wrong. If he did he needs to be punished but the story is all over the news and the guy has not been found guilty and no matter if he didn't do it the story is out there.
